🔃Megan Carter's POV 🔃
"Woke up in London yesterday, Found myself in the city near Piccadilly,
Don't really know how I got here, I got some pictures on my phone
New names and numbers that I don't know, Address to places like Abbey Road,
Day turns to night, night turns to whatever we want, We're young enough to say
Oh this has gotta be the good life
This has gotta be the good life
This could really be a good life, good life
Say oh, got this feeling that you can't fight,
Like this city is on fire tonight
This could really be a good life
A good, good life. ."
I woke up to the sound of 'Good Life' by One Republic blasting through my phone. It startled me and I got tangled in my sheets and fell to the ground. Not a pleasant start to the day! But the song was good, at least.
I'm not used to alarms, but I had to put one last night as I had little packing left to do. I got rid of the sheets and switched off the alarm. I saw that it was 7:30 in the morning. I dragged myself to the bathroom and started the shower. After showering and brushing my teeth, I headed out to search for something to wear. I picked out a pair of torn denims and a sleeveless off-white top. I got dressed and put on a pair of my denim converse and for make up, I just put a little mascara. I didn't feel like leaving my hair loose today so I tied it up in a high pony. After completing all my tasks I started packing my bags. It didn't take me much time to do everything. I went out of the room to see if the girls were awake. I saw that no one was there so I decided to go to Ems's room. As I entered her room, I saw her packing.
"Hi, Ems!" I chirped.
"Hi, Maggie." She replied, still busy in her packing.
"Is Corrie up, yet?" I asked as I sat on her bed.
"Last I checked, she was snoring away and talking to herself about how hot Channing Tatum looked in 'White House Down.'" Ems said with a straight face. I burst out laughing! That was Corrie. But. Wait! She isn't up yet? My eyes widened as realisation hit me.
"Wait! What the hell? Why isn't she up!? We have the guys picking us up by 9!" I exclaimed.
"I don't know. I tried waking her up but she just shoved me aside!" Ems shrugged.
"Okay, let's go try again." I said.
"Fine. I'm anyways done with my packing." She said. We both went out of Ems's room and towards Corrie's. I shook her and tried to wake her up.
"Corrie! Corrie! Wake up. You have to get ready. We're already late!" I half shouted at her.
"Go away! Go away, little bitch. Stop trying to steal Channing from me. Get a life!" She mumbled. One thing about Corrie is that she's a heavy sleeper. Even if you play loud music when she's in deep sleep she might not get up. I think she got that from her Mom. I can tell since I've known her family for like forever. Her parents are also like parents to me and since my parents don't care I usually spend time at either Corrie's or Ems's house where I'm always welcomed. Seriously, their parents are like the best! I sometimes forget that I have my own parents also.
"She isn't gonna get up like this." I sighed."I have an idea."
I went out of the room to come back with a bottle of ice cold water in my hand.
