🔃Megan's POV🔃

"So, what's next?" James asked, as we moved away from the dance floor and started walking on the sand, towards the ocean. It was windy and when I looked up at the sky, I was darn sure it was gonna rain any moment.

"What next? We decide where does that confession a little time back leaves us." I smiled, looking down at our entwined hands.

"Ah, about that. . ." He trailed off and came to a stop. He pulled me close making my arms lock around his neck while his were around my waist. "How would you like to-"

But he was cut short by the rumble of thunder, announcing the arrival of rain.

"Wait! Not like this! Come with me". James grinned and suddenly he was leading me towards an unknown place.

"Where are we going!?" I squealed.

"You'll see!" He screamed back. James broke into a jog dragging me behind him.

"Where"-gasp-"are y-you"-squeal-"taking"-giggle-"me?" I completed my sentence with great difficulty. James just ignored me and jogged a little farther. He slowed down his pace as we reached a huge rock. He started climbing the rock, beckoning me to follow. I held on to the rock and pushed myself up. James reached the top of the rock and held out his hand to help me up. I grabbed it and he pulled me up. I was now face-to-face with him. He smiled at me softly, a smile which made my insides churn and melt. He turned me by the shoulders and now I was facing the. . . Ocean.

Yes. The water of the ocean came close and splashed against the huge rock, spraying a little on me. I saw the waves come closer and then hit back. The sky looked painted with the colours of red, orange, blue, turquoise, pink, dark blue, sky blue all splashed together creating the most beautiful and beyond words sight I ever witnessed. Above us, lightning struck and the thunder growled. I felt a drop of water hit my forehead and then another, and then another. And now, it was raining. I turned my head to look at James who had a grin on his face and was looking at me. I blinked at him and his grin grew.

His face looked picture-perfect. His ocean-blue eyes were deeper than the water itself. He had a tint of pink on his nose from the cold. His hair was dripping wet and the water rolled down from his hair to his neck and travelled down his shirt. His jacket, his t-shirt were soaked along with his jeans. He brought his hand to my waist and pulled me close. My hand went to cup his cheek and his shoved a little of my overly-soaked hair out of my eyes and placed it behind my ear. I didn't need to hear any words from him. I didn't need the overly long and dramatic speech from him, confessing his love. I just needed him to look at me the way that he was right now.

I brought my lips to his and gave into everything I had held back, all this time. Our lips moulded together and moved in perfect sync. The world whirled. The sound of the rain bearing down, the roar of the ocean, the flash of lights, the groan of the thunder, all of it faded. It was only me and him, again. One of my arms wrapped around his neck and the other travelled down his chest to his stomach, tracing his abs as he wrapped both of his arms around my waist. After a while, we slowly pulled away from each other.

"I love you." I whispered to him, as he rested his forehead against mine and I was pretty sure he heard me despite the background sounds.

"And I love you." He sighed and engulfed me in a hug. I buried my face in his chest and he rested his chin on top of my head. He gave me a lingering kiss on my head and pulled away from me. He took my hands into his and looked at me with so much sincerity that I was overwhelmed with his emotion.

"Megan Carter," He spoke up a little louder than the usual, so that I could hear him over the rain. "You have intrigued me since the time we locked eyes and slowly but surely I fell for you, hard. You complete me and without you I, uh, I'm lost. You are my life, Megan. Without you my life is meaningless." He continued, making me smile at his words. He used the same 'without you my life is meaningless' line on that drunk night. "So, I'm asking you something. Will you be my girlfriend, Stoner Girl?" He gave me that typical half-lopped smile.

"I would love to, Mr. Brown Haired." I smiled and leaned in to give him a quick kiss.

"Good!" He chirped, pulling away. "Now let's get going before we catch pneumonia." He smiled making me chuckle. He grabbed my hand and helped me down the rock. We ran towards the closest shelter we could find, which was a small diner at the beach.

"So, have you decided how are we gonna tell everyone?" I smirked as we took seats at a corner booth. I was answered by a look of horror on James's face.

"Oh, God! I'm dreading it!" He whined and plonked his head on the table and making me laugh whole-heartedly.

"Oh, Jamie. Telling them is going to be so much fun!" I chirped making him glare at me.

As James continued to whine more, I ordered coffees for both of us, to warm us up. We sat in the diner for quite a while just figuring out how to tell everyone. I'm on top of the world right now but I know that there are a few questions to which me and James have to face. This relationship won't be easy but I don't mind. Right now, all that matters is him. And for now, I don't want to think about the future, I wanna live my present. I think it would be safe to say that it was one of the best days of my life, and believe me there are only a few of those.

A/N: Yello! I know, this was a small chapter buttttttt, I didn't want to ruin it by adding anyone other than James and Megan. Let's make up for the lost chances, shall we? ;)

The next chapter will be of them going to Candice and James and Megan telling the rest about their 'relationship'! :D So stay tuned for more!
