🔃Megan's POV🔃
"Dude, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of the most scariest movies I've ever seen!" DM said.
"Nah! It wasn't that scary! It was a good movie, few parts scared my also but it doesn't top my Most Scary Movies Of All Time." James said ".
"What about Psycho?" I asked.
"Damn, that one was scary!" Corrie said.
"I agree." Chase said.
"That was pretty good. ." James said thoughtfully.
"How can we forget? The Exorcist!" I nearly jumped. Okay, this all must be very confusing for you guys so let me brief y'all. We were all currently sitting around the bonfire and obviously talking about scary movies, guess you understood that part. Oh! And we were having roasted marshmallows! Yum. I love them! James really got all the stuff needed for an actual camp. Anyway, after Chase and James returned and brought the wood with them, the sun had almost set so we all got out the food which was basically beer and chips and all kind of junk food. Since none of us knew how to actually make a bonfire and after several fail attempts we googled it. Yes, our phones were still working (thank The Lord!) and we had network and plus most of us, no all of us, had internet on our phones. We set up the fire and all sat in a circle with Ems and Chase cuddling up beside each other, beside them sat Corrie so obviously DM sat next to her and that followed James and me.
"Oh god! The Exorcist! Shit, that was one hell of a movie. It definitely tops my list of Most Scary Movies Of All Time." James said as he got this cute fearful expression on his face.
"That movie scared the shit out of me. . These two made me watch that movie and I couldn't sleep for two nights." Ems said as she pointed at me and Corrie.
"Ah. That movie was good, wasn't it Megan?" Corrie winked at me.
"Shut up." I muttered.
"Are we missing something here?" DM asked.
"Yeah!" Corrie said.
"No!" I also screamed at the same time as Corrie.
"Okay, now there is definitely a story behind it. ." James smirked. "Let's hear it."
"Corrie, no." I warned her.
"Megan, yes." She mimicked me and everyone laughed while I scowled.
"Okay, so this is what had happened. . We were watching The Exorcist at my house and as we know that movie was really scary, so Ems freaked out halfway through the movie and left in the middle only but me and Megan finished the movie. By the end, Megan was pretty shaken up and looked white, literally. Of course I also got scared but I knew all this was crap and never gave much attention to it. Okay, so Megan leaves my house but then after about 15 minutes I heard a loud banging on my door and I open it to see Megan standing there, her face like she's seen a ghost and she's all like 'CORRIE THAT LITTLE GIRL IS FOLLOWING ME! AH! HELP ME, SHE'S HERE TO PUT A CURSE ON ME BLAH BLABBLAH!' And I'm trying to calm her down and so we go out on the street where she claimed that she had 'seen that possessed girl' and guess what it was?" She said with a lot of hand actions and a horrible mimicry of my voice.
"What was it?" Chase asked with interest while Ems was trying to control her laugh.
"It was. . . A white sheet which was kept for drying on the terrace of a house beside mine." She said with a flat look. At this everyone burst out laughing while I just buried my face in my hands. God! That was so embarrassing!
~
After that very embarrassing story about me we all decided to head off to bed and in our tent it so happened that our sleeping places were like, it was first DM in one corner, Corrie beside him, me beside Corrie so obviously James beside me in the other corner and what's more? We were short of sleeping bags since we had only 5 because our dear James had made a counting mistake and only got 5 (note the sarcasm)
