Chapter 21

🔃Megan's POV🔃

"Morning, ladies!" DM said as he and James entered mine and Corrie's room the next morning.

"Morning!" Corrie chirped while I gave away a very unladylike yawn.

"Looks like someone's sleepy." James smirked.

"Well, I can't help it if 'someone' keeps me awake till 4 in the morning!" I exclaim back.

"4 in the morning?! What were you guys doing, eh?" Corrie winked at me.

"We were talking, Corrie. But it seems like you did a lot more than that." I smirked at her while gesturing towards her and DM, who had an arm around her shoulders.

"Shut up." She muttered as a faint blush rose to her cheeks.

"Okay, if we're done with the teasing part can we go down for breakfast? Because we have to leave at 12 and it's already 10:30 and plus breakfast closes at 11. So hurry up!" DM said and dragged Corrie out of the room while me and James shook our heads at them and followed.

Last night James and I had returned from the pastry shop around 4 and I came back to see Corrie jumping up and down the room, still in her prom dress. It took me all I had to calm her down and tell me the entire story. She told me that she and DM have finally got together and the way he proposed and the speech he gave and how she felt and how badly she wanted a super corny speech and basically everything.

The whole discussion took about over an hour and I could finally go to bed by 5. I thought that I could easily sleep till at least 11 in the morning but that dream was ruined by Corrie. She woke me up in her excitement at 9! 9 o' freakin' clock! Damn her!

So now I'm hungry, sleepy, tired and walking behind Corrie and DM, who were laughing like crazy and kissing every now and then making us fake gag, with James.

"God, I think I'm gonna actually puke if they keep up this lovey-dovey couple thing!" James said to me as we entered the dining area, making me chuckle.

"I think so too." I replied making him smile.

We entered the dining area, sat in a booth and ordered for all of us including Chase and Ems since they would be joining us. We decided to give them a little time on their own. We all chatted about last night while waiting for Chase and Ems and soon enough they appeared, hand-in-hand. They actually made such a cute pair!

"So noble of the King and Queen to finally show up!" DM exclaimed as they both sat in the booth, their faces flushed as if hiding a secret.

"You should be happy we didn't ditch you guys." Chase smirked at DM and then turned at winked at Ems. Seeing Ems's face I immediately understood but before I could say anything, Corrie beat me to it.

"Oh my God! You guys so did the deed last night!" She exclaimed.

"Wh-what? H-how did you know?!" Ems stuttered.

"It's written clearly on your face, Ems. Your expression says 'LOOK AT ME! I'M A GIRL WHO JUST DING DING-DONGED MY BOYFRIEND LAST NIGHT!' I explained and everybody else burst out laughing making me smirk.

"Yeah, yeah." Ems waved it off.

"But what else happened last night?" Chase asked.

"Well. . ." I trailed off and looked at James.

"It looks like our Corrie and DM have been pretty naughty." James smirked. And so we spent the rest of the time telling them what all happened last night.

Soon after, we left for Acrae, which was an eight-hour drive. Oh, god! Give me the strength to face this drive and help me keep my bladder in control, I prayed to the almighty.
