🔃Megan's POV🔃
"Holy shit! This is delicious!" I moaned as I took a bite of my grilled sandwich.
"Second that." Corrie said as she enjoyed the burger she had ordered.
We were currently sitting in the booth of a small bistro called 'Heavenly' and might I say the name was really apt for this place.
"I hate over eating!" Ems whined as she pushed her plate away. The guys mimicked her actions and I did the same after I completed my sandwich. It was too good to waste. This place definitely goes on my "Best Meals Ever " list. Yes, I have a list. What? I like food, don't judge.
"You're still not done?" DM asked Corrie, who was still eating. She is a big foodie, like me. People say that she can eat more than me, but I disagree. Even if it is probably true.
"She eats like a pig." Ems snorted.
"But she looks like she barely weighs a 100 pounds." Chase observed.
"I run track." Corrie shrugged.
"She can eat a lot. She actually won the hot-dog contest held in our cafeteria this year and the pie eating contest the year before." I said. "I think she should add that to her résume."
"You guys have food contests every year in your cafeteria?" James asked, clearly amused.
"It started beacuse of Maggie. She challenged Corrie to a contest in our sophomore year for fun and it soon beacme popular among everyone. Hey, that rhymed! So, now we have it every year. And Maggie is the only one that can actually compete with Corrie." Ems said.
"Really?" James asked me, his eyebrows up in disbelief.
"Well, what can I say?" I smirked. "It takes talent."
"Okay, I'm done." Corrie said as she pushed her plate away. Again, we split the bill and started walking out. While we were walking somebody grabbed me by the elbow and pulled me away. I yelped but relaxed as I turned to see that it was only Chase.
"Dammit, Chase. You scared the shit out of me!" I exclaimed.
"Sorry, Megan. But I really need your help." He said.
"With what?" I inquired.
"I need you to convince Emily to go to the carnival with me. Alone."
I raised an eyebrow. "And why would I do that?"
"Because... You're Emily's best friend and I really like her and want to spend some time alone with her. And because you love me." He smirked.
"Okay, lover boy. I'll do it." I smiled as I ruffeled his hair.
"Really?" He grinned.
"Yes, really. But you need to get me something." I grinned like a devil.
"Anything." He chirped.
"Hmm.....You need to get me a tub full of Belgium Dark Chocolate Ice cream." I said. "Deal?"
"Deal. Thank you so much, Megan." He said as he hugged me.
"No problem. But now let's get back to everyone or else they'll think that we eloped together."

Convincing Emily to go to the carnival with Chase was not that difficult. She did have her suspicions but I guess she also wanted to spend time alone with Chase. I swear, these two will make an adorable couple. She went to get ready when I told her that they'll be leaving by six. Corrie gave me a knowing smirk and I just nodded mischievously at her.
