"F*ck! It hurts!" I yelled enduring the pain from my injury that's being tortured by an alcohol and cottonbuds. "Can't you stop f*cking pressing the cottonbuds too hard?!" I hissed.
"Stop cursing or else, I'll pour the remaining alcohol on your mouth," Doc Xian stopped cleaning my wound, and puts the cottonbud in the trash next to him. "How many times have I told you to stop getting yourself in trouble?" he asked returning his attention to my injury while placing a bandaid on it.
I stared at what he was doing. "Probably the nth time. Don't really remember it," I confessed to him.
"Angel," Doc Xian sighed. "What are you doing?" he asked after finishing tending my injury.
I fixed myself up, and glanced at him. "Like I said before, I am not doing anything."
"Not doing anything, huh?" his forehead creased. "Then care to explain how you got those injury from nothing?"
Here comes Daddy Xian.. Again.
"I was walking then bumped into something sharp," I lied to him.
"Do you expect me to believe that, Angel?" he let out a sighed again.
Maybe you will.. Then again, maybe you won't.. I don't really know Doc Xian.
I didn't answer him. I'm afraid of opening up to Doc Xian. I'm afraid that if I tell him the truth he'll see me as a horrible person. No, I don't have a crush on him. It's just that, his a person I don't want to disappoint. I already have a lot of that coming from the people around me. I don't need anymore coming from those people I treat as a family.
"Yes," I smirked. "Since when have you become my father, Doc Xian? Lagi mo akong sinisita everytime we see each other. Hindi ka ba napapagod?" I straight away asked him.
"Bakit, kailan ba naging ama ang tatay mo sa'yo?" He retorted that made my body stiffen. "To make you compare him to me?"
Kailan nga ba? I don't remember, Doc Xian. Simula ata baby pa ako, wala ng pakialam ang ama ko sa'kin e.
"Why not ask him yourself?" I shrugged my shoulder. "You married a woman who is capable of getting what she wants. That means, you can find him easily," I suggested to him.
I leaned my back against the chair then looked up to the ceiling. Both my hands lazily being hanged down. Like it has it's own life.
"Don't bring my wife into this, Angel," he sounded irritated. "I'm the one asking questions, and you are the one answering it," he said while emphazising the you part.
I sighed and glanced back to him again. I stared into to his eyes, noticing how tired Doc Xian has become. I know how tired he is. Heck who wouldn't be when you recieve a call at three in the morning? I would have been pissed off if I was him.
Yet here he is trying to put up with your bullsh*t... again.
How many times do I have to keep coming back here? I'm shortening my life as it goes. But this wouldn't be happening if it weren't for my father. F*ck! Who knows where the hell that sh*tty man is right now. All he knows is work and work.
"I don't know, Doc," I answered him out of no where.
One of his eyebrow arched. "What?"
I was about to open my mouth when the door opened. Making Doc Xian and I glanced towards it. Tita Zie is wearing a huge smile in her face as she close the door behind her after coming inside.
"Angel!" she squaled. "You're here, again!" she came running to me.
Tita Zie wrapped both of her arms around my neck and hugged me from there. My forehead kind of creased, but the same time feel happy to see her again. I bet she's been timing me whenever I come here.
