Love, The Hardest Way (Ville Valo & Emerson Burton Fan Fic.)

Chapter 2

A few months after the restaurant's anniversary and although I haven't been feeling well in the last few days the restaurant is doing well. I 've been feeling dizzy and nauseous, I haven't mentioned anything to Ville, I don't want to worry him he's already nervous about the tour that he, Burton and the boys will leave for in a couple of days.

- Ville I'm going to the restaurant, I'll be home late, we have a new waiter and I need to train him.- I grab my car keys and try to walk out the door but Ville stops me with a hug and whispers in my ear,

Do you really have to go?, I was thinking I could make us a nice lunch, maybe have some wine,and you know...- Ville kept whispering seductively in my ear, - I want to spend as much time as possible with you, Ray. I 'm going on tour in two days, and I'll miss a lot.-

- I know, babe, but I have to take care of this. I promise I'll take a few days off to come see you while you're on tour. - I kiss him and make my way out the door  to the restaurant.

When I get there, everything's a disaster. The shipments I asked the providers for haven't arrived. We need food. we only have two hours before we open.

-You're Lauri, right?.-

- Yes, it's a pleasure to meet Mrs.Valo.-

-Please, call me Raven or Ray.-

- As you wish Mrs.Valo, I mean Raven.-

We laughed a little and got to work, I think Lauri will be a very good employee, learns fast, and is very good with customers. During the day, Lauri helped me in everything I asked. Burton arrived in the afternoon and helped me in the kitchen, he's a very good at cooking and is my best friend, whenever I had a problem or needed help with something I always came to him, besides Ville of course.

- Are you sure you won't leave the band to come work with me? You are very good at this.-

- I would if we were certain that your husband won't kill me for leaving him and the band for you and your restaurant.

- Whatever you say, Capitan Korg or have you switched back to Roland again?.-

We laughed and joked a bit more, but I'm worried something is going on with Burton. Even though we are laughing and joking, I feel like he's hiding something from me. I try to follow our little game, but the nausea is getting stronger. I can't take it any more, I sit and try to calm myself. I breathe, but I can not settle down. I'm really dizzy, everything becomes blurry and I fall to the floor. The last thing I remember is Burton's voice calling my name.

I wake in a white room, and the smell of medicine burns my nose slightly. I turn to the door, and I see Sarah and Burton talking to a doctor.

- Sarah?, What's going on??. Why am i in a hospital??.-

! thank god you're ok, I'm glad you woke up, you had us worried.- My friend comes over and gives me a hug .

- Mrs.Valo, I'm Dr. Duchett ( pronounced duket ) you apparently lost consciousness and fell, Mr.Puurtinen brought you in, and we did some blood work. Everything seems in order. Congratulations, Mrs. Valo, you are pregnant.

- What?! But, are you sure, Doctor??.- I asked.

- Completely. You can go home whenever you want, there's nothing to worry about.-

I could not believe it! I'm having a baby, I'm so happy, Ville and I had tried before we talked many times about having children, even before we got married. We even went to visit a specialist who told us that everything was fine and that we shouldn't have any problems to conceive but the more we tried the more dissaponted we were, nothing happened and now there is a little person growing inside of me, I'm sure Ville will be as happy as I am.
