24: I thought I'd loose you.

My eyes were blurry as I opened them up. I felt my lids were still heavy as my sight was fixed on a white ceiling.

Where am I?

I moved my head to the side to see Travis with his forehead resting on his fists.

He was wearing tuxedo, wondering that he also attended the ball. His sandy-brown hair was disheveled and messy.

What was he doing here? This was unexpected of him. I tried to move my hand but if was difficult. My whole body seemed to ache.

"Ellie!" He ran to me and I just looked at him. "Are you now okay? Does your body hurt?"

"What are you..." He hushed me. "I saw you by the path way near our school's first gate. I send you here where you can easily heal," He whispered, comforting me.

That just lead me to a new set of confusion.

Him?

I thought I was with... Jack. I gasped, remembering him and his state. "Jack! Where's Jack!"

"He's fine," I exhaled in relief. Thank goodness. He didn't know how worried I was when I saw his face. He was in bruises and he was spitting blood. Be looked horrible than I could ever be. He was the one who got really injured because of me.

"Hold on, in there. I'm calling your butler." He then went out of my room and I was alone. I looked at my hand which was stuck to a pipe that provides water to my veins.

Danggit, so hard to move.

I stayed silent as I refreshed what just had happened. The B.L.A.C.K. freakin' ambushed us out of nowhere! Even though the Queen and King were there and the place were fully secured!

They are going to kill my guts!

Something also came in contact with my mind all a sudden.

"She's my girl friend."

I shut my eyes closed and in a matter of seconds, I starting making whiny faces.

Why did he even have to say that! I was ready to tell those bishes the truth. In fact, the whole campus will know tonight, anyway. Wasn't he thinking straight?! I had to deal with my broken bones, plus the 'princess-diary-life', and NOW the Casanova's girlfriend!

This is torture!

"Princess!" Hiccup came banging the door. He have me the tightest hug making me yell in pain. "Oops!" He flincthed. "I thought I'd loose you." He dramatically said. "Are you mentally stable now? Are you still hurt? Are you hungry? Need to pee? Need more medic?"

"Hiccup, it's okay. I'm perfectly fine. Though, I am craving for beef." I replied making him chuckle. "You're still you even though you're hurt." He pointed out making me shrug.

My parents.

"Where are they?" I asked with my eyes wide open. I hope they were safe from the attack of the rebels.

"They are now safe, in another private room for further clinical tests." He paused, thinking of what had happened. "They saw you... lying your limpy body here," My lips parted. "The Queen... The Queen couldn't hold back her tears, seeing you for the first time in years. Her tears mixed of joy and despair, seeing you badly hurt. The king got emotional too, comforting his wife. They both stayed to check on you for hours, not breaking a glance at their daughter." He gave out a sigh.

"It's a tragic thing to see. But also, releaving." My eyes got teary at his story. I gave out sniffs as my tears roll on my cheeks, wetting the pillow. I had mixed feelings that words can't even describe.
