34: I got cold.
ELSA
"Lee, are you drunk? Speak to me!"
I chuckled at Jack and pat his temple a couple of times. "Juice don't make you drunk, genius."
I drank another one but then I felt my stomach rumbling as if a stove was switched on inside.
"Ow," I whined, clutching my stomach in pain. Jack sighed. "You don't say."
How many juice did I even drank tonight? I felt like a giant Beach ball.
"What time is it?" Jack looked at his wrist watch. "7:41."
We partied for like three hours? Only?
"Hold on, in gonna use the toilets."
I fast-walk towards the comfort room. It's like a truck but when you get inside, it looked so clean and convenient.
Quickly, I did my thing and also fixed myself in front of the mirrors. I looked horrible and puffy. I washed my face with water and all that before exiting the truck.
"Jack." I called out and he turned around. "You good?" I smiled, nodding my head. I've noticed that his pick-up truck was missing.
"Come with me." He spoke, extending his arm.
Huh?
"Where?" He shrugged, grabbing my wrist and start pulling me with him. "You'll find out."
He is freaking me out.
We walked towards a forest. I gulped, having second thoughts of following him. But I did so, silently.
We walked deeper, passing some old trees and rocks and everything. "Jack?" I called out but he didn't budge.
He might be a doppelganger! A spooky shape-shifter!
"Jack!" I exclaimed and he finally faced me. "So noisy."
Good grief, it was him.
"Where are we really going?" He stopped walking and so did I. "Here."
I faxed at the sight before me. It was another hill. Higher from where we came from. But it didn't took long to arrive here.
It was beautiful. The star looked bigger and manier in this area.
I looked down to see the vast field ontop of the hill. In the middle was his truck—all alone in the wide area.
I looked confusedly at him. "What are we gonna do here?" I asked as we walked near the truck. He stretched his arms and yawned. "Spend the rest of the night."
I looked over at the back of the pick-up to see a bunch of pillows and blankets where we could stay. It looked fun.
My eyes widened, seeing it. I felt like wanting to dive in and get all comfy. "Where did all these came from?"
"From the cottage back at the party. I borrowed a few."
Wait, does that mean...
I gasped, my face turning red while he just looked at me cluelessly.
Were gonna snuzzle in there? Together? In the middle of the night? Alone?
My poor heart can't take this.
"Come join me." He got up inside and he helped me. Oof! I stumbled on the pillows making Jack laugh.
Ah, his laugh. It sounds so low and raspy, I don't even know anymore.
