I didn't know there were many people who had gathered up.

Jack and Astrid's sidekicks left us to his office. I was in my position, stroking my injured arm. "You okay, kitten?" I didn't notice Merida standing near me. She held my shoulders and pulled me for a hug.

"Are you okay? What happened?" The SC secretary, Thiana, arrived with a few people chasing after. They ran to see the commotion. "They started it." Raphy replied in defense of my side.

"We're bringing you to a medic. And after, we're gonna talk about what happened." Merida comforted and I nodded, sniffing. I was grateful my tears didn't roll down my cheeks. If it does, they'd think of me as someone who's weak. I didn't want that. Not in front of everyone.

This has gone too far.

My life.

It's as if I could already write a novel about it.

But I think I've changed somehow. If this would have happened to my past self, i wouldve been crying a river and running around, trying to fix everything.

But now, I didn't care about sheeps. It feels like it would be useles to correct something. I now leave it as is.

I'm tired.

Of all this drama.

The service in the infirmary didn't took long. The nurse applied some ointment on my wounds and gave me pain-relievers. She told me that I was ready to go and that my wounds were nothing serious which relieved me. I had enough with all this medical treatments.

"You sure you could still enter the afternoon periods?" Rapunzel was there, leaning by the doorframe of the infirmary. I smiled at her. "Of course. It's been years since I've placed my butt in my chair."

She chuckled. I could see her eyes scanning my two bruises: one near my lip and a small one on my cheekbone. Her eyes also landed on the bandage on my arm.

"How about you? You okay?"

"I'm immortal, El. I think I've become a super-human ever since Edward Cullen infected me with his fangs or something."

I rolled my eyes chuckling. She's still the same. "As long as I could punch whores with you and fight your back, I'll be okay." She gave me an assuring smile and I just felt awe, hearing her say that.

Unsurprisingly, people were looking at us. At this point on, I didn't even mind my reputation like how I always do. I just let it be. And this was at first. I can't believe Jack had taught me many things. Although, some of those things may tend to be negative.

I suddenly spot Ruffnut, talking to some peeps. I felt ecstatic seeing her again and was about to come over her but I paused. When she had her sight of me, she gave me a disapproving and irritated look. I frowned, watching her as she walked away.

"What's her problem?" I asked Punzie who just sighed. "While you were gone, she didn't talked to me either. I'm thinking... Maybe she's jealous like the other girls. You know... Knowing that you and Jack are dating."

I frowned. "But... She's not like that. You guys would even joke about it, right?"

I can't believe her!

"Both of us know she's obssessed with him since day one. And probably, she didn't really expect you guys would be a thing. She could've been really affected with that."

I can't believe she's really into that! I didn't really know if I should feel empathy or confusion. But I decided to just let her be. My image is ruined, anyway. I'll just figure out how to fix it someday.
