12: I bet I can make you beg, now!

JACK

"I can't believe you have a pickachu tattoo." Ray cried at Tuff and we started laughing our lungs off. Same old bonding time with Bunny, Sandy, Thiana and Tuff. We're usually the popular ones in school butI never really figured out how. Though, probably because most of us includes in the school's council and everyone knows, we're really strict when it comes to attitude and manner.

Ironic how I also break the rules.

"Speaking of signs," Sandy butt in. "Try these on." He each gave us seemed to be black leathered headband with a sign on the center made out of gold. "What's this?" I asked, looking at it. "We wear it on our arm, according to North. He said he calls it 'The SC sign'. I rolled my eyes and snatched it from his hands. "Fine,"

I slipped it on and the black leathered texture just matches my grey coat. "It looks nice," Thiana complemented, as she wore it over her black coat. "Hey, what about me?" Ash pouted. "Idiot. You're not an officer. You barely even know the rules in the school's handbook.

"Hey, how many cases were recorded for the month, by the way?" "Twenthy-seven?" I answered in a questioning tone. "Jesus Christ," Ray exclaimed in disbelief.

"Speaking of that," Sandy started. "Merida told me that the culprit from the Augustus building stole Halley University's main handbook as well." My eyes slowly widened at the news. He shouldn't. Nervousness suddenly streamed across my veins for some reason.

"Hey Jack?" I blinked my eyes, my vision landing on Thiana. She played with her brown waves, cocking an eyebrow at me. "You're landing inside your rational imaginations again," She teased making me look away. "I said, what's a good punishment for the guy?" She asked again. Oh damn. "I kind of forgotten to bring the rule book but if you ask me, a one-week-suspention punishment is good enough."

"That's it? What if he doesn't bring back the handbook? The staff can't just make another one. It's historical underthe school's premises." Ray reminded. "Then we'll make him pay." Thiana suggested. "Install the rule book on your iPhone next time, Jack." I sighed, resting my chin on my palm. I don't really like it when someone is lecturing me.

I ran away from home because our oldest maid would always do that. I mean, I have a life of my own. I'm already a senior.

"That hottie is a childhood friend of yours?" Tuff asked surprised. "What? Who? Where?" Thiana reactedas she stand up to find her. I inwardly rolled my eyes at her nosiness. "Nothing," I assured. "What do you mean nothing? Ash, who's the friend?" Ash chuckled and pounted forward with his lips.

Tooth turned around and squinted her eyes to see Merida and a couple of girls. "Merida?" She sound shocked. "No, that Ellie girl." Sandychirped in. "Can you guys focus on our job and not on my childhood years?" I pleaded, writing some notes on my record book.

"No. No way. 60% of love stories starts from 'childhood friends' and your love life is as interesting as aliens, living in the city." She argues. I scrunched my face in confusion, mouthing: 'what?' in an exaggerated manner.

"Come on, Jack. You never had a serious relationship before, yet they called you a playboy." Ray laughed. "Should that be just an impressions or you really look like one."

"Ehem," Thiana faked a cough, looking away making bunny shut his mouth. "Sorry," He said sheepishly and she just smiled genuinely. "It's fine, Rabbit. That was long ago." She assured. I just looked away in awkwardness, my eyes lazily trailing Ellie's direction.

She looks troubled, being teased by her 'friends'.

I smirked at her blushing face as she tries to ignore their tickles. I guess the message I directedto her looked real enough to convice everybody. Now we're even.
