21: So you'd look like a zombie or something.
It's been years, mah old friend. Enjoy reading, though! ~Manelle
Smirking, I walked down the stairs from the rooftop as I put on my belt. I knew she was up to something and would do the hard way for what she wants. Why does it feels pleasing, knowing that fact that she's done effort for it? She ended up wounding herself, instead.
Idiot.
"Jack," My smile dropped when my eyes met Thiana by the way. I squinted my eyes at her. "How did y-" "Oh, drop that act. You're always on the rooftop, doing god knows what." She said, rolling her eyes. She gazed at what I was doing—fixing my belt (which I quickly stopped since that would be awkward). She giggled. "What in the world were you doing?"
"Masturbating? Obviously?" I joked and that made her laugh hard. "Ew, shuddup." She said and that's when I turned down the positive aura, pushing my hands inside my pant's pockets. "So, what's wrong?"
"I was wondering if," She paused, feeling shy. "You know."
Oh shit.
"I'm bad at dancing. As predicted, I can trip on your dress, step on your foot, spill wine on you, and clumsily do chicken dances for the whole night." I stated reasons for her to change her mind. (If that's what's even in her mind). Please do.
But instead, she giggled. "What are you talking about?" My face turned into a poker one, not knowing what to do or to even say. Don't judge me, I'm not good with these kind of topics and I don't wanna turn her emotion upside down again.
"Eh, I gotta go." I walked passed her, patting her head. "But-" She was about to start yet I didn't even mind glancing back. "You still have classes, Thia." I excused. With that, I started walking down towards the second floor. 'Was I too rude?' I asked myself but that just gave me a half-smile on my face, shaking my head. "Nah, probably not." I mumbled to myself. This is why people think of me as rude and heartless. Well actually, I don't really care as long as I know to myself that I make things very clear and be frank with anything.
"Hi Jack! Can you be my date for-"
Skipped.
"Jack! I thought it would be cool if-"
Smiled at.
"Say, Jack. Could I be your-"
Ignored.
This is getting irritating! Well, not as if I'm not used to it anyway, but it always just gets in my nerves.
ELSA
I smiled uncontrollably, with an unusual noise that suddenly came out of my mouth. What the heck was that?
I should probably stop gluing my eyes on my finger and get ready for my next class. I seriously can't wait for later! I asked raphy to go out with me for our dresses. I could literally imagine myself in a lavender cocktail dress with of course, Mr. Rivory Frost beside me wearing a black tuxedo with his hair brushed up in place. I restrained a squeal to come out of my mouth. I shouldn't be too giddy with the simplest things that he does. It would lead me to nothing! But in another perspective, there's an 80% chance that it will lead me to trouble. I sighed, still having my back on the wall as I sit down on the cement. Why does it have to be so complicated? I'm a princess for sheep's sake. I'm getting married to someone I do not know.
And I thought those things only happen on fictional stories. I never knew my life would get 'this' cliche! Welp, I guess I should go back now. Literature is the next period and I don't wanna be late for it. I walked down towards the different direction where Jack went and walked down the stairs.
