2: Mr. Frost, better not be making out with my student already.
ELSA
His voice gave me the chills specially with an unexpected answer like that. My face softened, shoulders relaxed. His face stayed emotionless. "You do?" I softly asked and he nodded.
"How- I mean, what did I do?"
I played the fool I haven't done that since I was in my elementary years when my teacher asks who started the passing notes which was me all along.
"Don't fool with me."
I looked away and sat back down. "Please, please, please don't tell anyone." I pleaded with my palms together, touching his leg by the table already. I'm feeling embarrassed, feeling his stare at me and his brow arching. I looked back at him.
"I'm the school council moderator."
He stated as if I was an idiot but I still didn't get it. "-I suspend or expel a student if I want to." He added like a sigh which made everything clear to me. My eyes widened at the sound of expel and in a matter of seconds, I pleaded once more. "Please don't do that, sir! Give me a chance."
"What chance? How can you explain everything? How can you fix everything? We're talking about the university, here. You know how parents reacts to one single mistake of the school. We don't want the reputation, ruined. "Yeah, but," "You'll hide and keep our reputation ruined just to save yours?" He cut me off and I could definitely feel the water, covering my eyes. "You did some serious trouble."
"I'll-"
I hesitated. "I'll figure something." He gave out a teasing chuckle that annoyed me for some reason. "Well," He began, leaning back, resting his palms on the table. "good luck with that."
I quickly towards my next class as the bell rang. -Math. I mentally groaned at the sound of it. I made my way to the stairs, holding on the wet handle towards the room. I looked down at my large t shirt which he gave me earlier. I'm so relieved that Mr. Jack released me already. Good thing he still have sympathy and kindness left in him.
Opening the room, stressed classmates came to view as they fix themselves, drying their clothes, and organizing their things. I gulped. Seems like most of them were in the cafeteria, earlier. I wonder where did Raphy and Ruffnut went after that incedent?
"Morning students." The teacher walked in but I gave less care. Achoo! I sneezed on my hanky. Darn this cold. "You okay there, El?" Someone beamed. I turned around to see Travis, resting his chin on his palm. "Yeah," I faked a smile before turning my head back.
But as I do, I spot something move outside the window.
I narrowed my sight to find a brunette guy, hiding behind the bushes. He waved at me and I just stared awkwardly at him before turning my head back at the teacher.
Okay, but who is he?
Should I ask him that? I think it would be rude for I think he knows me somehow?
A childhood friend, perhaps? Less of a chance. I didn't really have a lot of friends back in my childhood years in Meirville.
I tried focusing at the lesson but I'm kind of having a hard time. "What?" I asked a new friend beside me but she just shrugged.
Math. I hate this subject since forever. It's my worse enemy. And I'm really dying to see students, enjoying their life with it's company. I hope it didn't even existed.
I thought, tapping my pen on my desk. Turning my head to the window again, I saw no one.
Hm, maybe I'm just hallucinating.
