Nathan's comment made both parties laugh. Nurse Reese went ahead to tell him the reason for her little stunt before he began to feel the effects of the insufficient Oxygen in the air.
"I found a couple of things you might be interested in. I didn't want to bring them to your apartment because Borgina might throw another tantrum. She's such a jealous one."
"She's protective, not jealous." Nathan defended Borgina, cutting Nurse Reese off mid-sentence.
"Whatever you want to call it." She replied.
"Is that jealousy I sense?" Nathan gave her the side eye.
"Of course not." She laughed. "You can come to my apartment anytime during lights out. I will like to show you what I found."
"Do you know how far away the MoonEx medical staff apartment complex is from here?" Nathan asked.
"Sure. I just came from there." Nurse Reese's reply was clearly sarcastic but it made Nathan laugh.
"On a more serious note," Nathan continued. "I'll run out of Oxygen before I get halfway there."
"Not if you come in a Rover." Nurse Reese shrugged.
"How am I supposed to get one? You forget the Rovers are already programmed to our assigned destinations."
"...and you forget those programs can be altered. I'm surprised you haven't tried to override Rover command before, being the genius computer scientist that you are."
For some reason, that compliment made Nathan smile. He had just had too many things on his mind to think about stealing a free Rover ride. Where will he take the ride to anyway?
"So, will I see you during tonight's lights out?" Nurse Reese asked.
"Of course. Wherever there is a discovery, Nathan goes." He replied.
Nurse Reese smiled and walked off, while Nathan ran straight for his apartment door.
