(Azalea's Outfit^^^)

"Wait, Mr.Golds son is Henry's father?" Azalea stopped in her tracks in the middle of her flower shop, the vase of roses in her hands almost slipping from her grasps from what she heard Mary saying on the phone. Mary looked at Azalea before setting her cell phone on the front desk and putting it on speaker. "Yea, and I know. The millions of questions you have, I have, too. The problem is that none of those questions matter right now." Emma's voice spoke through the phone into the flower scented air. "I don't know what to do..." Emma admitted. "Please tell me your not calling to ask me to tell you to keep it from Henry." Mary said running a hand through her short hair. "Henry thinks his father is dead. I said that for a reason. I want to protect him." Emma said. "No matter what this man did Henry has a right to know who his father is and have the opportunity to connect with him." Azalea said calmly putting the vase down and walking over next to Mary. "The truth about your parents, Emma you of all people should know how important that it." Mary said. "I don't want Henry to get hurt, I just want to protect him." Emma said, sounding stressed. "Are you sure that this is about Henry? Or are you trying to protect yourself?" Mary asked. Emma sighed into the phone and Azalea turned to the vase, looking at the roses, finding a comfort in them as Mary and Emma continued to talk. If anyone in her family was still alive and someone tried to keep it from her...what would she do? She would be really mad. "Emma...if someone in my family was alive and kept it from my knowledge I would feel betrayed." Azalea said facing the phone on the counter. Her statement was faced with silence, so much so that it was possible to hear the horns blaring and noise of the Manhattan city Emma was in through the phones speaker. Mary sighed and took Emma off of the speaker phone. She walked out of the flower shop so that Azalea couldn't hear the rest of the conversation, the teen didn't really care to hear the rest of what Emma was going to say to try and avoid telling Henry the truth. And she knew that Mary could talk some sense into her daughter. She picked up the roses and and grabbed her bag before getting things organized to close the shop. She had been closing earlier the past few days due to all the time that she was putting into growing the magic bean stalk. The progression was going well, but usually magic beans were grown and taken care of by the giants. She had no experience beforehand on how to grow them, but with the help of Anton and the dwarfs things were going smoothly. She smiled as she though of the enchanted forest, how everyone wanted to go back. If she had the power to get everyone back to their home she would use all of it.

-Azalea's Pov-

"The crazy work never seems to stop does it?!" Grumpy called to me as I walked through the cloaking spell I had put around the garden, I stopped and nodded to the dwarf. It was true, ever since Anton had given me the magic stalk the dwarfs, the former giant, and I have been working what felt like nonstop in the garden to grow it. I walked over to the place where I had planted the stalk and smiled. It had grown even more then I expected it to. I sighed and looked around, watching a few of the dwarfs breaking more soil for when the stalk would start to spread. Anton walked over and stood beside me as I pulled my notebook out, writing out the plants strength and lengths. I was trying to keep as much info as possible on it just in case something were to happen. Just in case Cora found our garden. "The plant is growing very nicely. I made the right choice handing over the last stalk to you." Anton said smiling to me. "Thank you, I appreciate your trust with this. I can't imagine how much it means to you." I said. "I think you can imagine." Anton said looking at my bag, where my mothers book was sticking out of the top of it. "So how much longer do you guys think this will take?" Doc asked walking over with Grumpy and Happy. "It depends on how the stalk keeps on taking the magic I feed it." I said turning to them. "Once you guys are done with spreading the garden dirt you all should be free to go back to your normal places of work." I said looking at them. "I appreciate all the work you have put in already, but once the dirt is broken up and ready to grow the stalks spreading roots your jobs will be done." I explained. "And what will you be doing after were done?" Grumpy asked. "I'll be feeding magic through the roots and dirt to the stalk, making it powerful enough to start growing the magic beans. It is a careful process, if I feed to much it will die, if I don't feed it enough it will grow to be a normal bean stalk with no magic properties...and I have to try and keep the cloaking spell up so that Cora can't find the garden." I explained. "And you expect us to let you do that all my yourself?" Grumpy asked. "Uh...but-" I said looking confused, I was technically the only one who could do it. "I'm not talking about the magic stuff you do...look your working hard for us so that we can go back home. And I for one don't like the idea of you working out here by yourself. We can have someone guarding you at all times your here. We can have people look after your shop while your here so that it doesn't have to stay closed all the time. Please, I saw you work by yourself all the time in the Enchanted forest for David and Mary's safety...let us help you this time in the ways that we can." Grumpy said with a smile. Azalea knew that he wanted a vocal answer, but her chest was so full of unnamed emotions that she couldn't speak. Instead the girl drew in Grumpy and the other dwarfs for a hug. "Okay...thank you." She said above a whisper. The dwarfs separated and got back to work and Azalea turned to Anton with a big smile. "Now, let's get back to work."

- Mary's Pov-

"So Henry knows everything now huh?" Azalea asked as she sat on the couch with me. "Yep, I can't believe that Mr.Gold's son is Henry's father..." I said, still in shock from the news. "That makes Mr.Gold his grandfather...my nephew's grandfather killed my biological family." The teen said, tears gathering in her eyes. "Oh darling, I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how emotionally confusing this is for you." I said wrapping my arms around her. "It must be confusing for Henry too." Azalea said, always the one to empathize as she leaned into me, her legs curling up against her chest as her head rested against my chest. She was curled up into a ball tucked into my side. "If I could keep you here and protect you for the rest of my life I would." I said, running my fingers through her hair. I felt the teen relax into my side and I kissed the side of her head. "You've done so much for me already...my biological family may not be here anymore, but I have you...David, Emma, and Henry." She said. My heart felt like it was overflowing with emotions as the door opened, David walking in. His eyes landed on us and he smiled, taking off his jacket and gun holster before sitting with us on the couch. "How is the search for Cora?" I asked as David sat to the other side of Azalea. The teen moved her hand and gripped David's hand with her free one, the other hand holding onto my shirt. "Not great, but I can keep trying tomorrow...how was your day?" He asked us. "You won't believe the news Emma told us." Azalea said, before I started going over the details. As I told David all the details I knew he put his free arm over my shoulder, the other one being held by Azalea. "That's...insane." David said, the shock clear on his face. "Yep, I thought that Azalea would drop the vase in her hands when I told her." I said in a teasing manner looking down at the girl between us, to find that she had fallen asleep while I was telling David about what had happened with Emma. David smiled as he brushed the girls face out of her hair with a gentle touch. "The dwarfs told me that she's been working hard on the magic beans." He said. "We will have to keep an extra eye on her to make sure she doesn't over work herself...she has her fathers determination." I said with a grin. "She also has her mothers stubbornness." David said with a smirk and I laughed. "This is all been so hard on her...she needs a family David." I said looking down at the girl as she slept peacefully between us. "She does, she has us." David said. "Then let's make it official. I think we need her to officially be our child as much as she does...let's officially adopt Azalea." David smiled, leaning over the girl to kiss me. "That's the best idea I've ever heard. She's already ours, but making it official will make her feel...safer, we can show her that we are willing to go all the way for her. That she's not alone."
