FIFTY ONE

"Sir?" FRIDAY's robotic voice echoed throughout the lab. Tony was fixing the Mark 45 again and it was frustrating him a lot.

"Yeah, FRIDAY, what is it?"

"I'm afraid I have some bad news." This made Tony stop working on the Mark. He turned around there was a video of Bucky, pacing around the room, phone in his hands as he stopped in front a mirror, looking lost.

"Get me the audio of the phone call." Tony commanded. His heart was beating so fast, realizing that this might not be Bucky, but the Winter Soldier. Of course, nobody wants a repeat of what happened before.

Turns out he was right, it was the Winter Soldier.

He heard Bucky's trigger words and his face paled, knowing the team needed to know that Bucky had gone back to his old ways. He didn't know how HYDRA found out about Bucky's phone number. He made sure all servers were secure and no one was allowed to bullshit their way through it.

He was mostly afraid of Steve's reaction, though. He knew Steve would go hell and back for his best friend.

If you asked Tony before if he cares about James Buchanan Barnes, he would say "no" followed by a bunch of swear words.

If you asked him now, he wouldn't hesitate to say "yes." He'd do anything for him now, he's family.

"FRIDAY! Get the team, now."

"So we're back to the who-the-hell-is-Bucky phase again?" Sam said. He was sitting beside Steve, who was a mix of anger, frustration and concern.

Steve looked at Tony, arms crossed.

"Y-yeah. But we're going to find him, he brought his phone with him. Probably unconsciously. I'm going to track him, we're not wasting any time." As Tony said this, he looked at Steve.

"How about using Find My iPhone?" Clint suggested, Steve's face immediately became a face of hope. He was quiet, how did he not notice Bucky left the tower? He was upset with himself. Steve worked hard to get his best friend back, but someone had to say those ten words and he was now back to square one.

"It needs Wi-Fi or cellular data to work, and I doubt Barnes knows how to use LTE in his current state. I'm going to the lab to track him. Cap?" Tony looked at Steve again. Tony would find Bucky for Steve, and for the others too. 'Cause he cares about Barnes and he needs to prove that he's not the villain they say he is.

"Hmm?" Steve mumbled.

"Call it."
