The Impossible Couple { A Zalfie Fanfic }

I didn't know how to respond to the text. What should I say? Now that Louise had reminded me of what I had said the night before I was so self concious talking to him. And he texted me right at the worst time possible. 

I looked up at Louise and Tanya who were both looking at me. Waiting for me to speak. I don't know why but  I lied. "It's from Jack," I said with a grin that was one hundred percent real. It wasn't real because Jack had texted me though. It was real because Alfie had. 

I started to type a quick reply. 

Z- 'I would love to do that. When are you free?'

A- 'How about next weekend? :)' 

Z- 'Sounds like a plan!'

I clicked off my phone with another smile and sat down next to the girls. I loved to be productive but just texting Alfie felt like productivity enough. I smiled at them and they looked at me with confused faces. 

"What?" I asked still grinning widely. 

"Why are you so happy?" Louise asked looking me up and down. 

"Oh nothing!" I said cheerily. They both just rolled their eyes and went off to get ready for the day while I sat on the couch and grinned. 

This is probably the worst and shortest chapter I have ever written but a lot happened tonight and I didn't feel up to writing a lot. Sorry guys! I'll make it up to you soon! I love you all! ^_^ xxx
