Ari

Hearing all those words from Michael made me think. What if I never left and heard him out? We'd be happy again right now.

But instead I've woken up on my brothers sofa with no sign of Ashton. He lied. Michael lied to me as Ashton is staying at Jessie's right now, in her bed.

"You up? Fancy doing something today?" Michael walked in his eyes still full off sleep.

"Ahhhh!" I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. "You're back!"

I laughed, "hey Gina, how's Luke?"

"Oh he's fine," she waved sitting down. "How are you?"

I nodded fiddling with my fingers, "I'm okay."

"Bullshit," she slapped my arm. "I know you're not over Ashton."

"I'll never be over him, he's the one." I whispered.

The door opened and Ashton walked in with his face buried in his phone. He looked up and then his gaze drifted to me. "Oh," he blinked. "You're still here."

I nodded. "I am about to take her out man, the beach maybe, wanna come?"

Gina gave mike a disgusted look and I smiled. "No, no. It's cool, you have some sister bonding time." He denied.

"The boys are coming." Gina huffed. "You may as well."

Ashton looked at me and I just shrugged. "Yeah, okay. I'll just message Jessie. Uhm, there is a fair there still right?"

"Oh yeah!" Michael cheered running to his room.

"Still obsessed?" I asked.

Gina rolled her eyes, "oh yes."

"Glad to see you!" Luke smiled as he sat down on his towel.

"Yeah, it's been a while." Calum patted my back sitting on his chair.

I smiled and pulled my shirt over my head throwing it on the floor and then pulled my shorts down and threw them on a bag.

A wolf whistle came from next to us where a bunch of young lads in there early twenties sat. I smiled and sat down pulling my sunglasses over my eyes to block the sun.

"Why can't you guys whistle for me?" Gina huffed whipping Michael with her towel. "You're a mean boyfriend."

"We didn't whistle at Ari, someone else did!" He exclaimed.

Then Ashton arrived with Jessie in tow. She had this glow illuminating her as she wiggled her ass all the way too us.

"Hello guys. It's good to see you." Jessie smiled at everyone laying her towel down.

I looked next to me as she sat down and smiled. I huffed standing up and brushing sand off me.

"I'm going for a swim." I mumbled.

Then Luke stood up, "I'll come too."

I nodded and we walked to the sea. I dove straight in as soon as I could. I came up spluttering water everywhere.

"Hard isn't it?" Luke asked as he appeared next to me water dripping down his face.

I nodded, "yeah, yeah it is. I'm not sure if coming here was a good thing."

"You wanted to see Michael, you have and have you enjoyed it?"

"Of course!" I exclaimed. "I've missed him."

"We've missed you Ar, so stay for a while."

Then a splash went up over us and when I came up I screamed. Not before seeing Cassie smiling at me.

"Cassie!" I screamed splashing her.

Luke looked at Cassie in admiration and already I knew what he was thinking.

"Who's this? It's sure not Ashton or Michael. No, no, let me guess! Luke, Luke Hemmings."

"Don't pretend you don't listen or fan girl over them Cass."

Luke chuckled and stuck his hand out and Cassie shook it rapidly. "Hey Cassie, nice to see you."

"Nice to see you." She smiled. "Where is this Ashton then?"

Laughs erupted the space around us and when I looked up I saw Ashton carrying Jessie into the sea.

"Oh," Cass huffed. "There." She mumbled.

Luke smiled at me weakly and I just shook my head. "Why can't he see me? I'm stood right here." I looked at them together, happy.

"He sees you Ari, just wait for it." Luke said nodding towards him.

"Wait for what? Wait for him to say 'I love you?' For him to tell me I am all his forever and onward? No, he won't."

Then Jessie swam over to us and stopped as soon as she reached us all.

"Who's this?" She asked looking at Cassie.

"Well, I'm not a cheat." Cass smiled smugly.

Jessie bit her lip, "I'm Jessie."

"I know, I've heard your name before."

"This is Cassie." I mumbled. "She's my friend."

"We're practically sisters so I know everything about you Jessie."

"Look, yes, I slept with Ashton when he was with Ari, but I never meant for him to. I didn't make him stay and he didn't give up on Ari until she gave up." Jessie snapped. "I'm not going to sit here and let you drag me down on my past."

"Don't talk to her as if she's not here." Cassie yelled. "This is no place for you!"

"Girls, stop." Ashton swam over looking at Luke for help. "This is my fault, no one else's. Be mad at me not Jessie."

Then a hand found its way around Ashton's cheek as Jessie gasped. I saw Cassie smirking as Luke swam over to her pulling her waist.

"You want the full end of it, wait for the rest! You have no idea how hard you were on her! You, you broke her! No one else!" Cassie yelled as Luke pushed her further and further away.

"I'm sorry." Jessie mumbled before taking Ashton back to shore.

"Cassie!" I screeched swimming over to where Luke was talking to her. "What were you doing!?"

"What you should have done to get answers Ari, you can't just expect him to tell you."

"I know, but I got the answers I've been wanting already! I know what I'm doing. Considering it's my life you think I'd be able to control it."

"She was trying to help Ari." Luke muttered.

I laughed, "think about something but your dick for once Lucas." I splashed as I swam away.

I reached the shore as Michael ran to me. Gina was close by and he stopped once he saw me. "You look angry, what did he do?"

"Nothing, it was my friend Cassie actually." I mumbled. "I wish I could make this all go away." I began crying.

I just couldn't stop the tears from falling down.
