Ari
I stood there in my dress looking in the mirror. I had my hair curled and my make up done. Gina and Cassie stood next to me there green dresses clinging to there skin perfectly.
"Are you ready?" Mike came in.
I took a deep breath and nodded. I went to the door as Ed Sheeran thinking out loud began playing. Cass and G walked down the aisle first.
I grabbed Michaels arm and he held my hand tight.
"It's okay to back out now." He said as I looked before me.
There it was, my life. This, all of this is my life. I am ready for this.
I took a step forward and Michael followed before I made a rhythm walking to him, my Ashton.
Michael handed me over and I pecked Ashton's lips before the music stopped.
"We are gathered here today to witness the marriage of Ariana Clifford and Ashton Irwin. Before we start, if anyone wishes to stop the marriage, speak now." I held my breath as the beach stayed silent. "I'll continue."
Then the vows came, Ashton grabbed the ring off the pillow which Calum held and he placed it on the top of my ring finger. "Ari, I've loved you from the moment I saw you which I never believed was real. With the panic of your brother we split and you started a new life which I came back into. Then, I ruined it again and you nearly married, the way I felt is unexplainable and I could not wish it upon anyone. But with some time and realisation, we ended up together again. You believe perfect has no definition, but to me there is one, you. I love your smile, your laugh, your embarrassed giggle you do when you've done something wrong. The seriousness of your face that your tongues sticks out and you don't let anyone breath. The way your hair falls when your stressed and the way you tie it up when your planing. I love the way you cook even though you normally burn it," everyone laughed at that. "But I love the fact that we're starting a family now. After all we've gone through we're still an us, I think that's how we will stay." He pushed the ring down and smiled. "I promise to always love you and to never hurt you again."
Then the room clapped as I smiled. Luke came up next with Ashton's ring on a pillow, I picked it up and placed it on his wedding finger near the top. "How am I going to compete with that?" I laughed as the beach did too, I think even the fish did. "Well, being young and dumb when we met was probably a mistake, but now I know what love is, it's us, it's this. I'll always love you Ashton no matter what." I pushed the ring down and he kissed me.
"I now pronounce you, husband and wife."
Everyone cheered and I smiled as I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"I love you." He mumbled against my lips.
//
"Congratulations." Cassie smiled as she handed us to two presents.
"Why two?" I asked putting them with the others. "Ones for the baby."
"Thank you." I smiled and hugged her.
Then Ashton took a present from Luke, "why didn't you two just give us a shared one?"
"That's what I said." Luke laughed.
Then Cassie swung at his arm, "oi, don't act like they don't deserve more."
Then they left laughing and giggling.
"I can't believe it." I laughed looking down at my ring. "Were married."
"Better believe it babe." He smiled and pecked my head. "Mrs Irwin."
"Oh my god, I've dreamed of that for so long." I smiled.
He nodded, "so have I."
"Come on love birds," mikey laughed as he dragged Ashton away from me.
"Uh," I stared at them. "What about me, he is my husband."
Then mike came back dragging Ashton and then he grabbed my arm dragging both of us to the meal that was planned by mike.
We sat down at the head of the long table and the boys were either side of us.
"I love you." I smiled.
"Speech! Speech! Speech!" Everyone chanted which made Ashton stand up.
"Okay," he laughed. "Well, thank you all for coming. There's not much I can say that I didn't say in my vows really. Today went better than planned, we are grateful for all the help we received. As you know," he looked down at me. "Me and Ari are expecting our first child together. I will never forget the child she had before, our child had a sibling and that's what they'll know. But, this is my first attempt at all of this. So, I love you Ari Irwin and I couldn't have asked for a better wife by my side."
Everyone cheered with tears in there eyes. "Will the newly weds make there way the dance floor for their first dance."
Ashton grabbed my hand and we made our way to the dance floor. Perfect by Ed Sheeran came on and we danced together. Me close to him and him close to me.
//
I watched as Ashton danced with all the boys. They looked so happy.
But before long they ran off into the sea with all there clothes on. They dived in and splashed each other. Then they called me over smiling. I pulled the poofy part of my dress off. I ran to the sea landing with a splash and being caught by Ashton.
This was what I wanted our wedding day to be like. Nothing to serious but to show love and responsibility.
"I love you." Ashton smiled as his hair dripped down his face.
"I love you." I smiled back kissing him.
I pulled away my mouth agape when cold water made its way down my back.
"I love you guys." Michael smiled and we all got in a group hug.
Our wedding photos will be interesting.
