We barely had time to rest when we got back to the hotel. Lauren and I just finished taking a shower when Ally called us for the rehearsal for the show on Friday. We only have the rest of the day and tomorrow to practice and I'm pretty sure Vincent will work the hell out of us to make sure that we'd perfect our performance.

"Fuck, my whole body is sore," I said as I took my guitar from the rack. "I'm going to need a massage."

We were currently on another hotel room that was particularly paid for us to be able to practice at. It was somewhere far from the floor where there are occupants so we wouldn't disturb them. All the equipment are here and it was wider than the usual hotel rooms.

"You should work on that," Vincent said, standing up from the chair he was sitting on. "Dinah and Camila here couldn't walk a straight line because of their bruises and I required them to have their legs iced all the time for faster healing."

"I almost got a frostbite," Dinah said before fixing her drum set.

"This hotel has a massage service, right?" Lauren asked, adjusting the strap on her body beside me. "We should get them after this."

"You won't be out until 7 so that's just perfect before you sleep," Vincent said, moving us like statues to our respective positions. "Okay, tomorrow you'll be playing Write On Me for the first—"

"Write On Me as in the one in our upcoming album?" Camila interrupted, her jaw dropping in shock as her eyes were widened in excitement.

"Yes. It will also be the first time they'll be hearing it so we're going to focus more on that," Vincent said, walking to his bag to take papers before going back to us. "Here's your guide. Make sure to study it very well and if you have questions, feel free to ask me, okay?"

We were only able to nod as we looked down at the paper he gave us before was talking again.

"Your music has changed and I'm not gonna sugarcoat anything and it isn't going to be easy to switch sounds so, I'm going to need your full focus. I'll give you a few minutes to study your sheets then we'll try playing it later on."

"She's knocked out like a light—let's go," I said to Normani who went to get me.

I locked the door behind me and left my girlfriend sleeping soundly in our room. We have been planning this surprise for y/n's birthday and it was an advantage that she's a sleeping monster so we were able to work without her knowing. The five of us have been learning a Hawaiian dance and the plan was mainly Dinah's idea. She said that y/n would definitely like it when she sees me in Hawaiian dress and only coconut shells to cover my breasts. And if I swayed my hips a couple more, I'd successfully make my girlfriend want me at the end of the night.
