"Ladies and gentlemen, let's all welcome Midnight Iridescence!" The DJ, Ray, said through the mic he was holding.

We were currently in an interview for a radio station but with people watching us live instead of being in a cubicle. We are also being filmed by their department whilst our supporters were seated in front of us. The six of us gratefully waved at them as they clapped, some even catching our attentions by being too giddy. They're cute.

"So, ladies, you attended Wango Tango last week, right?" Ray asked, making us nod in affirmation. "How was the whole event? Did you guys make new friends? Found someone you could possibly collaborate with or something?"

"We found artists we could collab with but the friends we met there are already old friends of ours," Dinah said in amusement, her dimples under her eyes showing as she grinned.

"Yes, during the after-party, Lauren and y/n met Ariana Grande, Zayn Malik, and Justin Bieber, and Dinah and Normani found Zendaya, while I spent a little time with Hailee Steinfeld and Bea Miller," Ally chimed in excitedly, her eyes widening in amazement. "They're all from our school except for Justin but we knew him back then."

"It actually sort of became a reunion," Camila said. "Taylor was there, too, and Ally just came calling us to gather everybody and we enjoyed the night away together like the good old times."

After my and Lauren's time alone, Ally called us to say that she found Hailee and Bea. I, who was excited to see my former teammate, immediately told Lauren about it and I helped her get dressed. We absolutely smelled like sex but the hint of smoke and liquor from the people there covered it for us. Afterwards, we all spent the night like Camila said and enjoyed it as if we're partying back then in high school.

"Saying it was fun is an understatement," Lauren said, using hand gestures for emphasis. "That night was amazing and it felt like we were young again. I mean, we are still young but a lot has changed and I didn't expect us to see each other again in this state."

"Your school is definitely something else," Ray noted, making us chuckle. "A lot of talented artists came there and who would have expected for these kids to be this big, right? So, guys, if you want to be legends like Midnight Iridescence, study where they came from." We all laughed and Ray did as well, finding his own statement humorous. "However, ladies, is it true that you've started making your sophomore album already?"

"Yes, it is," Normani confirmed. "Actually, for the upcoming weeks, we'll be recording our new songs."

"What makes it different from One Wish?" Ray questioned, making Normani think of it thoroughly.

"I think it's... more matured now? And there are songs that we composed—"

"Which is mostly Lauren's, y/n's, and Camila's composition," Dinah cut in, and she tried to make a joke to what she said next. "Ally, Normani, and I are slacking on the band, guys. We're sorry." She giggled when we laughed and held her hand up to tell that she has something else to say. "I'm kidding. The three of them just have this very creative mind and the songs they made suits the, um, the theme of our album so they decided that, 'why not include this?' since it was something they've been really wanting to do—to play their own composition and bring it along with the possible success we might get. I mean, if ever."
