Dinah and Camila were just concerned about me getting hurt again. They told me that I should take it slow with Lauren even if we're just getting to know each other. Dinah was shocked to know that I'm still into the green eyed girl though. She wasn't expecting it because Lauren practically threw me out of her life and Dinah said I was such a martyr for loving her still despite every pain she have caused me. Love works like that, doesn't it? You pour out your love, get hurt, but you learn how to forgive and in time, you'll heal. Just because I was angry at Lauren, doesn't mean I don't have feelings for her anymore. My heart wouldn't be pouding like crazy every time I see her if I don't love her anymore, would it? It's something in me that never goes away.

However, my two friends doesn't know if it's a good thing or not.

"Okay, so, you went out with y/n and she paid for your breakfast?" Normani queried, sitting beside Ally on the foot of my bed as they try to get things about the breakfast with y/n earlier out of me.

"Um, yeah?" I chuckled reluctantly, not really sure what they're figuring out.

"Do you think y/n still have feelings for you?" Ally questioned, giving me a little hint.

"I could ask the same thing," I answered truthfully. "She said it herself that she still do, but I don't know if that means that she wants us back together or she just want to move on—after everything that I did. But I saw what's hanging on the chain on her throat when I came to meet her in the morning."

"What is it?" Normani asked, her forehead creased in curiosity.

"I've seen that chain on her throat but I've never catch a glimpse of its pendant—or anything hanging in its loop in particular," Ally spoke, having seen the shining chain y/n's been wearing but never getting the chance to see it in a closer look.

"It's the ring I gave her a year ago," I explained, causing the two to widen their eyes surprisingly. "The ring I've given on Christmas that comes with my promises about my love for her."

"And she's been wearing it still?" Ally asked, coming to a conclusion in her head.

"Yeah—" I nodded affirmatively. "—just not in her fingers, but still."

"Do you think it means something?"

"I think it does because she'd be hiding it somewhere to forget about every commitment that comes with it otherwise," I told them, feeling tiny waves of butterflies in my stomach. I shouldn't be holding my hopes in getting my princess back but I couldn't help it. "Actually, I have the same ring."

I took the silver band off of my left ring finger and showing it to them. I saw the text engraved on my finger and smiled sadly as I read it. Always yours. And I became more sadder because I knew I'd always be hers, but I wasn't so sure if she'd always be mine.
