Cute little baby :( protect Lauren Jauregui at all cost!!

"Okay, y/n, Chloe, this is what we want you to do," Adam said and I looked over at my partner nervously. Apparently, we haven't exchanged a word when we saw each other and she seemed like she wasn't too worried that she was paired up with me. Chloe looked hesitant though, but I bet she knew that this would happen. She was more prepared than I was. "You've got to act like a real couple. You know, being cheesy and all. I know you two aren't new to this, knowing that you're both in a relationship so, we're hoping that this would be an easy shot for you. Especially me. I don't really want Eric to get impatient."

"Is that supposed to motivate us?" I asked, slightly wincing when I knew that what he said wasn't much of a help.

"You seem like you need more motivation than we do," Chloe said to him, causing me to snort as I bit a laugh.

I saw her looking up at me and I met her eyes, a playful smirk on my face. Maybe working with her wouldn't be that bad.

"Eric's just really scary when he's mad," Adam said, managing to put a small smile. "And I don't want to lose my job, guys, so please. I need your cooperation."

"Yeah, we'll do our best, Adam," I said, putting a reassuring hand on his shoulder.

Doing our best wasn't cutting it off. We finished the first few scenes of holding each other's hands, feeding the animals in the zoo like we're married, taking pictures like we're comfortable with it, but we can't do what they were asking now.

We can't just kiss with all the issues we had.

And I can't kiss some other girl with Lauren watching with our bandmates on the other side of the set. It felt like cheating although my girlfriend was aware that this was all for work. I knew everybody could sense the tension between Chloe and I but no one dared to call it out. Maybe because they knew it was something personal and they shouldn't be meddling. That or no one seemed to care enough. They just wanted this to be over with so they opt to push something the actors were both uncomfortable to.

"Adam, can't we take a quick break?" I asked the assistant director when he went back. "It's obvious that we both need time to work on this that's why we can't perfect the scene. Can't Eric see that?"

"Give us 10 minutes, Adam," Chloe said almost pleadingly, her puppy eyes easily working with the guy.

During the past few minutes of taking shots with Chloe, at some point, I trusted her that she wouldn't do anything. If she had a hidden agenda, the kissing scene wouldn't be that hard for her, would it? I figured that she was just uneasy as I was with this.

"Okay," Adam said, scratching the back of his head. "I guess 10 minutes wouldn't hurt."
