"Making somebody else laugh when your girlfriend's occupied, are you?" Lauren said jokingly, and I would've thought she was serious if it wasn't for the smile dancing across her lips. "Can't you be any more subtle?"

"You can't blame me if I'm funny," I said, fishing my phone out of my pocket as I felt a vibration. "Besides, my girlfriend pays more attention to her camera than to me. I don't think she would mind if I give other ladies my attention, would she?"

"Hey!" Lauren punched my arm as I laughed, rubbing the spot she hit. "You can't just do that. I'm your girlfriend. I should be the one you're giving your attention to."

"I am your girlfriend so I should be the one you're giving your attention to, and not that camera," I said teasingly, failing to hide my smirk. "You can look at them later and focus on me now."

I looked down at my phone and saw a few messages from the girls as Lauren turned the camera off before placing it on her lap.

Dickhead Dinah

Hey, assface. We'll be visiting our own families in Miami so if you'd come home and find no one in the mansion, you know where we are.

"I'm actually giving you my attention right now and you're going to be on your phone? Seriously?"

I raised my phone to Lauren so she could see that I was only reading Dinah's message, and her eyes widened when she saw the last part.

"What the fuck?" She giggled, covering her mouth as her cheeks grew red. Thinking that she'd defend me, she gave me a look. "How'd she know that?"

"Fuck you," I said, typing a reply for Dinah as the green-eyed girl started laughing loudly. The contagious sound made me smile though.

I heard another giggle and turned to find Lauren peeking through our conversation. It's not that I'd mind but I wanted to spend my time with my girlfriend so I locked my phone and lifted my arm to the headrest of her seat, propping my elbow on the table and resting my head on my fist before tilting my body so I was facing her completely.
