Y O U

It's nice to get my cast off and live a normal life again. Yes, having a cast is almost like being abnormal. It was indeed difficult and your movements are limited—not to mention the consant itching of your coated skin. I assured Lauren that we would do the things I promised but it's only three days after I got my cast off and I'm still trying to get used to it. My arm definitely looked different and it wasn't much in shape, and the dried skin grossed me out. The doctor gave me a few exercises to make and I'm hoping that I would finally be able to use my left arm again.

It had been three days of even more fun days with my girlfriend. We've been making out a lot, of course, and sometimes we would end up laughing just because I couldn't take her shirt off properly. It was still a great session nonetheless. My left arm felt weak and I couldn't lift weights yet so I decided to just take a jog today. Lauren volunteered to go with me and I want nothing more than to have more time with her.

It felt real good to take the morning jog with her. Not only I have a company, but I also have someone filming our hands entwined together to add in her story in Snapchat and take pictures of us to show to the world. Lauren would always find a way to be close to me and as we jog—she didn't take my hand off of hers. I was smiling the whole two hours we're jogging and there was no time that we aren't enjoying the silence we have between us. It was one of the silence I loved the most because the atmosphere wasn't heavy. The mood was light together with the weather and the environment that made the jog perfect.

When I asked for another lap in the park we're running on, the green-eyed girl started whining and she dramatically lied on the floor which caused a few people to look.

"I can't... feel my... legs anymore," she panted, placing an arm over her eyes.

"What?" I laughed, leaning down as I placed both of my hands against my knees. "It hasn't been three hours yet, Laur, and that's the usual time I spend for my morning jog."

"Then go... do it yourself... I'm—I'm going home," she said out of breath, rolling over to push herself up.

"You're really going to let me jog alone?" I asked, trying to act hurt as I watched her slowly walk away. "Okay, let's just brisk walk for ten minutes then we'll go home."

"Baby, I can't do it anymoooore," she whined, turning around to face me whilst she had a frown on her face. "I'll just wait for you here."

"No, I can't leave you alone," I told her, being aware of the danger that it might bring even in this time of the day.

I stepped closer to her and studied her face, taking the face towel she was holding and using it to wipe the sweat off of her forehead.

"Are you really tired already?" I asked softly, using my other hand to hold her jaw as I carefully wiped her entire face.

She nodded her head in between my hands, her pout meeting my eyes when I was done. "I'm not a superwoman like you. It seems like you could run the whole city without getting fatigued."
