Bad Days

Your P.O.V.

I lay on the bed, sinking my head into the pillow letting out muffled sobs. My day couldn't have been any worse. I absolutely didn't want any company but I was forgetting that my boyfriend was just back from his 3 month long tour.

I heard faint footsteps coming in my direction and I was guessing it was him.

"Hey sweetheart what's wrong?" He asked sitting down beside me.

It was really hard to answer the question 'What's wrong' when nothing was right.

I couldn't help it but sob louder than before.

"Do you want a hug?" He asked. I nodded my head sideways.

"Do you even know what I just said?" He asked.

"Yes" I said.

"What did I just say?" He asked.

"Do you want a hug?" I replied.

"Well if you insist... "He said engulfing me into a warm hug.

I tried to wriggle out of his grip but then I was underestimating his own strength. I finally gave up. I wrapped my arms around him and cried in the crook of his neck. I didn't want him to see me this way but I didn't have much of an option.

He rubbed my back soothingly making me feel better.

"You know things fall apart so that other things can fall together" He whispered in my ear.

I smiled a little. He was right maybe something good was coming my way. Maybe this was just the rain before the rainbow.

I loved how Shawn brought in positive vibes in me. I loved how just being with him made me feel so much better. I loved the way he encouraged me to see the good in everything.

The rest of the night was much better than the day. We snuggled, watched cartoon movies and had a very creative discussion on what if babies had moustaches. I guess my bad day turned out to be a good one.

I was, I am and I always will be grateful to God for having Shawn in my life.

A/N: Sorry if this was crappy. I tried my level best to write something good but it turned out to be so awfully short.
