Face Time

"Heyyyyy!!" You said cheerfully as you face timed Shawn and your daughter. "How are you two?"

"We're great mom!" Your six year old daughter almost screamed.

"Yea, we're doing amazing mom" Shawn said as both of them high-fived. "I'll just get back in a minute." Shawn said handing your daughter the phone.

"Mom, you know Andrea just invited me to her birthday party! I'll wear that pink dress you bought me. Okay?" She said.

"Oh, you'd look lovely." You said smiling.

"And, mumma..." She said lowering her voice "..please come back soon.. I don't like the food dad cooks." She said. 

You busted out into pearls of laughter.

"I can hear that you lil'monkey." Shawn said as he came back and tickling her stomach and making her laugh out loud.

"Ok dad I'm sorry." You daughter said in between her laughs.

 "I guess I'll take you grandma's today..." Shawn said. He wasn't one of those people who'd turn the world upside down if you'd tell them their pros and cons and it was one of the reasons why you loved him. "Now, go and do your homework..." he said to your daughter and you shared goodbyes.

"Babe I miss you soo much." Shawn said.

"I know I miss you too... just two more days to go... And don't mind what Sierra said right now... you know her, right?" You said reassuring him.

"Are you crazy? She's our daughter..." He said.

"Ya, that's my Shawn!" You said.

"Y/N... I really miss you sleeping beside you every night, those hugs and kisses." Shawn said before looking down sadly.

"Aww I miss you too... two more days only!" You said.

"Ya! I guess I'll take Sierra to mom's now..." Shawn said smiling. "Bye, I love you!" He continued.

"Bye, love you too!!"You said before blowing Shawn a kiss.
