Chapter 14: It's A Date.

Blake's POV

Basically, my heart broke a little when Amy didn't hear what I wanted to ask her. The thing is... I tried asking her out for a movie but she was zoning out about God knows what. We have grown closer and closer each day, and I'm extremely comfortable with her right now. The only reason why I asked her out was because I had already bought two tickets for a movie that's scheduled today but I never had someone to go with.

I don't know, I was just bored.

So I had no choice but to throw those stupid tickets away, instead of going by myself and looking like a loner.

"What is you thinking?" Amy questions right across me. We're at Starbucks and she has been on her phone since we got here. I smiled at the memory when we first met, it was like déjà vu.

I laugh at what she said. "You use bad grammar."

"At least I don't keep smiling like an idiot for ten minutes."

"I was certainly not smiling like an idiot!" I argue, taking a sip from my usual drink, Java Chip Frappe.

She rolls her eyes. "Whatever. So tell me, what was my best friend thinking?"

"Why you've been on your phone since we got here." I answer, half-lying.

"I'm sorry!" She chirps in a cutesy way.

Remind me again why I'm best friends with this cute and adorable little creature?

"There's this guy who decided to meet up with me, here."

"Wait, you're meeting up with a person you barely knew?" I quickly ask her, maybe a little too paranoid.

"Stop exaggerating, he's an old friend anyway." She casually shrugs. "And he's been on one of our videos."

"Really, what?"

"Lips Are Movin' vid."

"Wait," I held up a finger. "That dude who played as your date?"

I've seen that music video before, when Taylor and I decided to check them out on YouTube. I must admit, I couldn't take my eyes off her. She looked absolutely pretty. Hell, she's beautiful whatever she does and wears. I could just simply stare at her everyday and admire her beauty... but, that would be creepy.

And why am I even saying all those things? She's my best friend!

"Yep, that was him." I remain silent, since I had nothing else to say. "Bae, can you please buy me a drink?" Ugh, I hate it when she pulls on that stupid puppy eyes and calls me 'bae'. It makes my heart jump out of my chest for some reason. No that sounded weird. Somehow, that endearment she uses makes me feel something... strange.

"Buy your own, Ames." I tried to keep on a straight face and ignore that flattering feeling.

Gee. I sound so sissy.

"Pleaaseeee." She pleads furthermore, looking at me dead in the eye.

Okay. I'm done.

"Fine," I heave a sigh of defeat and went to the counter.

It took me almost forever to decide what to buy her. She always says she hates coffee and tea so... I guess Passion Tea Lemonade will do?

"Your name, sir?" The barista named Wayne, asks.

"Uh Amy," I answer absentmindedly and he looks at me as if I grew three heads.

He must be thinking, 'What a great name to name a dude.'
