*Savannah POV*

I woke up suddenly gasping for air... I blinked a few times before realizing what had happened.

It was all a dream.

I was sat in my mothers car, gasping for air, and we had hit traffic. My headphones had fallen out and I could hear the radio playing quietly about tomorrows weather.

"Are you alright love?" She asked softly looking at me concerned.

"Y-Yeah... I had a... Bad dream that's all." I replied placing a hand over my neck. No bite marks.

I smiled at myself relived that everything that just happened was a dream.

"Wanna talk about it?" She asked as I grabbed my water bottle from my black handbag.

Great. The last thing I needed was my mother knowing about the vampires.

"No it's fine. Only a dream" I replied reassuring myself as I brought the water bottle to my mouth taking gulps. It was cold and exactly what I needed. My heart was still racing.

"Okay..." She shrugged looking out the car at the traffic before us.

"How long until were home?" I asked changing the subject.

"Well I'd say an hour, but im not sure with this traffic." She sighed looking out the window once again.

When the car pulled into the driveway, I couldn't help smile. I had missed this place so much.

We live on a horse farm here. There's always energy everywhere with loads of people caring for their horse.

I got out the car and stood next to it staring at the house. Where I grew up. It looked exactly the same, the beige/brown walls hadn't dulled or got dirty at all.

I walked across the  pebble driveway with the yellow and brown stones crunching beneath my feet heading towards the white front door. I opened it stepping inside.

"Nothing has really changed." My mother said from behind me. Smiling, I turned around "I noticed..."

"the only thing that has changed is your old room, obviously." My mother replied handing me my suitcase.

"I bet your tired. Go upstairs, remake yourself at home. I'll call you when dinner is ready." She told me smiling.

I noticed how she said remake which made me smile. "Thanks mum." I replied before carrying my huge and heavy suitcase up the stairs.

Half way up I felt my phone buzz in my pocket, notifying I had a text message. It was probably Tegan. We were texting earlier while i was in the car. Well she could wait until I had free hands before I could reply.

I hobbled with the suitcase down the landing towards my room. I opened the door and I was greeted by the purple and white walls, my old and very comfy bed with purple covers on. The carpet was the same, dark blue with light blue squares. I love this carpet.

I looked around the room at the old.shelves, that were still up on the wall but now held nothing. I gently lay my suitcase on the floor before sitting on my bed and taking my samsung touch screen phone out of my pocket.

Only it wasn't Tegan who had text me. It was Niall.

I felt my heart race increase, and I didn't want to open the message, afraid of what it would say. What could he want?! One minute he's dark and ready to kill, and the next he's kind, sweet and protective.

I opened the message and it said:

Niall- Hope you had a safe journey x

What the hell? I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.  What's with this guy? I shook my head before quickly and bluntly replying.

Sav- Good thanks.

I came here to get away from him, so I really was quite pissed he had text me. I threw my phone on the bed, hoping the conversation ended there.

I lay down on my bed and looked up at the white ceiling. I had to text my old friend Charlotte I was home. That would be a great surprise for her. I smiled before eventually falling asleep. Again.
