*Niall POV*

After she left I couldn't move. I felt frozen. This is all because of me. She's leaving the fucking town because of me. She's right. It has happened really quickly. I guess its best for her to leave though. She will finally be safe. I will just have to let go of her.

I watched as she walked away and I turned to walk back and deal with Louis. We were normally close, me and him. But with the others, we fight often. Like brothers do, I guess.

"What the fuck Niall?!" He screamed at me as marched up to me, angry as ever.

"Louis listen!" I yelled back.

"I trust her, I know she wont tell anyone!"

"No Niall, you don't!"

I felt so angry I wanted to punch something. "For FUCK SAKE!" I screamed punching a thick oak tree leaving a small dent. I felt my eyes turn red, knowing I was beyond mad. I stayed by the tree, breathing heavily. "I know she won't tell!" I shouted at Louis, who hadn't even moved.

"How?!"

"Because I fucking read her mind!" I screamed.

He stood there blankly, with nothing to say. None of the boys were aware I could read minds. Not even Louis.

"I didn't know you could.." He said softy walking up to me slowly. "Niall, why didn't you tell us?" He asked. I let out a frustrated sigh. "That doesn't matter now. S-shes leaving town... Its for the best, I guess." I replied quietly. All I could think about was her. I tried blocking her out of my mind but I just couldn't. Louis must have noticed because I felt him put his hand on my shoulder. "God.. You like her don't you?" He whispered.

"I don't even know." I replied. Which is true. I don't know how I feel towards her. Was it love? I shook my head in cofusion and began to walk deeper into the woods.

"Niall where are you going?" I heard Louis call from behind me.

"For a walk." I replied flatly, and before he could answer I dashed off, as fast as my vampire speed could take me. I knew exactly where I was going.

I blurred through the woods untill I was going uphill. Eventually the trees stopped and I came out at an open space, at the edge of a cliff top.

I looked up at the clear night sky, where the moon shone brightly onto my face.

I let out a sigh taking in my surroundings. I liked it up here. It was so peaceful. I sat on a giant boulder that was 3 feet from the edge.

It was a long drop down, and there was a river at the bottom that glistened under the moonlight.It wasnt long before my thoughts wondered back to Annah.

Will I ever hear from her again? What if Harry was to go after her?

I had so many questions running through my mind. Unanswered questions. I placed my hands in my pockets and once again looking up to the bright moon.

The next morning I decided to check to see if she had left yet, before the sun was too high in the sky. I stood outside her apartment and a car was parked outside that I didn't recognize. I leant my back on a lampost and waited to see what was going on.

All of a sudden I saw her walk out with 3 boxes full of stuff. I couldn't help feel sad watching her pack to move away. Where I can't protect her.

"Is that it?" An unknown voice said walking out of the house that looked like an older version of Annah herself. Her mother.

"Yes, that's it. Thanks for letting me come home" Annah replied in that too familiar Welsh accent. And I couldn't help bite my lower lip.

That's the thing with vampires, we dont have warm blood, so we literally cant blush.But I always I bite my lip which is just as obvious.

She was just getting in her mothers car when she froze and looked directly at me. Shit she saw me.

*Annah POV*

As I was getting in the car I noticed a guy leaning against a lampost on the other side of the road where Niall had been the previous night. He even had a black coat on...

I casually glanced at the guys face and froze.

It was Niall. What was he doing here?! He didn't walk up to me, he didn't even say anything. He just looked at me and his eyes looked dull and empty.

Why was he sad to see me go? What did I mean to him?! I shook my head getting into my mothers car as she pulled away.

But I do admit that it hurt to leave him. And leave my whole life,and stuck with the feeling I was leaving something huge behind but I didn't know what. Why is my life so awkward?

Why does the person I like have to be a vampire? Do I even like him that way? I noticed Niall's blue eyes watching the car as we drove, and I knew it was the last time I'd see them.

"How you been love?" My mother asked turning to me brightly, snapping me out of my trance and into reality.
