*Savannah POV*
As I left the police station, I felt a little woozy, obviously from the bite. It wasn't anything huge to be alarmed about, I just needed a lay down.
I began walking home in the early autumn air, taking in the fresh air to clear my senses.
I rolled up my sleeve slightly to check my wrist, the blood was beginning to stop, and I had 4 tiny prick points on my wrist.
My apartment wasn't too far from here, and I checked my phone for the time which read 12:40pm.
I still felt flustered after that encounter with Niall, it was all over too quickly. We hardly spoke or anything...
I really do miss him, which is kinda bad for me to do, I have a big year in collage ahead and the last thing I need is distractions. I know its not Niall's fault about Mike, I just really want to focus this year.
As I neared my apartment the skies clouded over, and I felt a little cold in my plain black jacket.
I could see the woods on my left, a place I hope I would never have to encounter again as far as I live.
I couldn't even bare the sight of it, just the thought of the place gave me shivers.
I turned onto another street and accidentally bumped into someone.
"oh gosh, sorry!" I exclaimed before looking up to see who I bumped into.
It was brad, as in Brad from my media class, who was also Tegan's boyfriend.
"Sav, hi!" He grinned at me, before adjusting his coat.
"Hey, how you been?" I replied casually.
* * *
In the end, Brad and I ended up getting a coffee in the local coffee shop, just catching up on things.
It turns out he's pretty into supernatural things. I'll have to watch out for him there.
"What would you say if I said I thought vampires existed?" He asked sounding way too casual.
I almost choked on the hot chocolate I just took a huge gulp of.
"I... what?" I asked, stunned at his question. What was he getting at? Did he know there were vampires here in our town? Did he know about Niall or the others?
"I do. " He said, answering his own question.
"I think they're real, and I also think there are some in this town. Remember that guy who got bitten the other week? I highly doubt that was an animal." He stated, grinning widely like a madman.
"I- don't really know-" I came out with a fumble of words, but luckily he cut me off.
"Savannah, can I tell you something? But you can not tell Tegan. I don't want her involved, but I trust you with it." He explained, getting serious.
Oh god. Does Tegan have a vampire boyfriend too?!
"Go- go ahead." I stammered, really not wanting to hear his reply.
"Me and my dad, we hunt vampires"
*Thought I'd quickly add another small chapter, updates will be sooner from now on, got loads of ideas!
