Chapter 20: fOoL fOr YoU

A/N I talk alot in these author notes so only read if you can handle them.
Alot of you guys sort of already guessed what was going to happen 🙊 lol but here's the next chapter it's sort of a filler chapter as well. I've figured out how I'm going to get towards the end of the book... just not exactly how I'm going to end it. And thank you so much to @izzicorner1 for commenting the song 🙏 It fit SO perfectly with what I wanted it doesn't even make sense. So much love for you babe.

And I mean damn did they not look amazing?!?! Ally was FINALLY in something that went with her body type and she looked so good. And of course you know my baby slayed life up there looking like her name should've been Blue Ivy lmao. My only problem I had with their BBMA Work From Home performance was that dip that Dinah did on Ty.. that was unnecessary to me 😂😂😂 but I mean everything else was good to me... ENJOY ❤️❤️

The tour was finally over and my tour luckily didn't start for another two months so I could get some type of break. But since I did release my album I had to go around and do talk shows for promo. Today it was Ellen and she is personally one of my favorite talk show hosts so I couldn't wait to meet her.

Plus, this was "my" show so I'm being interviewed for more than half the show, plus I'm doing a special performance for my fans. I would perform a song off the album, but none of them were really family friendly so I was doing a song that I co-wrote on a while ago.

"Y/N? It's almost time. They're asking for you on set."

My manager popped her head in to say. I nodded and took a deep breath before walking out.

"Don't worry, you'll do great. Plus, if it gets awkward she'll probably make a joke out of it anyway."

She said as we came to a stop in front of a curtain.

"Yeah, I know D. It's just a little bit of nerves that's all."

She nodded as we were interrupted by Andy.

"Hey, what song would you like to be playing as you walk out?"

"Um, Work From Home. I gotta promote my girls as much as I can."

He smiled before running off to tell Twitch my song choice. The countdown for the show started soon after he ran off. Destiny patted me on the back, giving me an encouraging smile, before walking off to stand with my PR on the side.

"Please welcome my next guest, Y/N Y/L/N."

I heard Lauren's voice start singing the chorus making me walk out. I smiled at the crowd, waving as I came closer to Ellen. We danced for a second, stupidly might I add, before we sat down.

"Hey, guys. What's up?"

I said to Ellen and her audience. They screamed in response while Ellen spoke.

"We're good. But what about you? How was it touring with your closest friends?"

"It was actually really cool for my first tour to be with a bunch of people I've already bonded with in the past. Definitely something I'll remember forever."

"That's great. Well..."

She paused and reached over on her table to grab two paddles. I made a face at her action making the audience laugh softly.

"We're going to go a little backwards today and play a game first."

"Oh god. What game?"

I took the paddle from her reading both sides which said "I have" and "I have never", ultimately answering my own question.
