Finally school was on break, meaning not only was spring break starting, but so was our senior trip. This year we voted to go to Hawaii and I couldn't wait. My only problem is that I had to wake up at 4 in the morning and pick up Sierra and Diamond. I also had to take Kehlani, but I just slept at her house since she's closer to the others.
Once we got to the airport, we couldn't go into the terminal until all the students got there since they had our tickets in bulk. But after a half hour of waiting we could finally go through to the gate. Our flight didn't take off for another hour though, so once we sat down we immediately went to sleep.
Eventually we got on the plane and we made it to Hawaii around noon, California time. Which is really about 10 am Hawaiian time. Luckily, I was able to convince the teachers to let all of us bunk together in one room since it was 4 to a room. Once we set all got settled into our rooms, we were given the rest of the day to ourselves.
"What do you guys want to do?"
Diamond asked flopping down on the king sized bed, next to an already laying down Sierra, that they were sharing.
"Can we go to the strip mall first before we do anything?"
Kehlani asked sitting down next to me on our bed, then leaning her head on my shoulder. I put my arm around her and pulled slightly closer before saying something.
"I'm cool with that. I just want to go to the beach later, though."
"Alright we'll do both. Just wear you swimsuits 'cause the beach is a few minutes from the strip, according to the map."
Diamond said then hit Sierra on her back making her groan.
"You good with that?"
She just hummed in response.
"Then come on lazy. We already gotta be back by 8 for dinner and I don't want to waste no time."
I said, untangling myself from Lani to find my swimsuit. Once we were all dressed we headed for the strip and it was about a 5 minute walk away. We were all low-key matching since we all decided to wear our suits as our shirts and jean shorts.
We decided to go into this little antique shop looking place. They had a bunch of souvenirs so I brought some for my mom and myself. We were all goofing around though trying on different hats and sunglasses.
"Y/N/N! Look at this."
Kehlani said making me turn to her to see her holding Tori's EP. I smiled as soon as I saw it. I hadn't actually seen a hard copy of her EP; especially since her album is already out, I thought they would stop selling it.
"You helped her write all these songs, right?"
"Yeah."
I said nodding, grabbing it from her. I went to the front of the store to buy it so I could at it to my growing collection I have at home. As the man at the front rung it up I looked out the window to see someone familiar who I hadn't in a few years. I took the CD from him and went to Kehlani with my bags.
"Hey, babe, could you hold these for a second. I'll be right back."
She nodded and I ran out the store to go catch the girl before she disappeared. Luckily she was walking across the way towards another store. I caught her by her arm and she turned around shocked.
"Hey, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you."
I said letting her go and taking a short step back. She calmed down and smiled slightly.
