16. Without you there

Aurora's POV

Why did I have to apply for this uni? Why couldn't I just stay in Leeds?
Questions kept replaying in my mind.
My head was in the crook of Dan's neck, I played with his shirt quietly, not wanting to wake him.

I heard the door creak open, "Auror-ah, shit fuck sorry" Kelsey said as she barged through the door. I giggled and sat up, Dan fluttered his eyes open and yawned.
"You're fine Kels, come in" I smiled. "So-uh Kelsey, this is Dan, Dan this is Kelsey."

"Hey! Nice to meet you." Kels said as she shook Dan's hand.

"You too" he smiled.

"Uh-I'm about to order pizza, what do you guys want?" She asked, holding her phone to her chest.

I shrug, "Meatlovers for the two of us please."

I sat up next to Dan and leaned my head on his shoulder, tucking my legs to my chest.

"Don't worry guys, I'll get out of your hair after the pizza arrives." She laughs.
Dan starts going red, making me giggle to myself. He was so awkward I loved it.

"So is he staying over or..." Kelsey pointed out.

"Oh-er I'm going to stay at a hotel nearby." Dan explains. Honestly, I apart of me was secretly wishing he was staying here with me, but that's virtually impossible because I doubt the single bed would fit the two of us.
Kelsey nods and proceeds to go outside with a cigarette between her fingers.

"Do you want to stay with me at the hotel?" Dan offers.
I bite my lip, and think about it for a second.
"Ah fuck it, Kels wouldn't care." I whisper under my breath, " yes i'd love to!"

The pizza guy arrives with our food and I see Kelsey flirting with him, making him blush uncontrollably. She kisses him on the cheek right before shutting the door on his face.

"Who was that?" I ask.

"The pizza guy." She says, stuffing a piece of pizza in her mouth.

"No I mean like is he your boyfriend? Or do you have a thing with him?"

She laughs and shakes her head. "Nah, he just gives me free pizza, don't question it."

"Alright"

"Anyways, peace out fuckers, I'm out." She says, leaving the dorm with her box of pizza in her hand. That girl was so mysterious and weird, I love it.

After the pizza Dan and I drove to the hotel he was staying at.
"I've been gone for a week, it feels so weird not being at home." I say, placing my hands in the pockets of my hoodie.

"It feels weird without you there."
