I stared at the brown eyed woman with a grin. I lifted my chilled glass to my lips and let the thick fluid cascade into my mouth. The clear, alcoholic beverage burned my throat as it traveled it's way down my body. The sensation was memorizing. I slammed the glass down on to the bar and jumped up from my stool.
My new found courage to carry out my deed coming from the alcohol coursing through my veins. I stuck out my elbow, offering the woman my arm. She gave me a flirtatious smile and hooked her arm in mine. "Care to dance?" I kept my voice low and husky.
The woman smiled her flirty smile, clinging to my arm like it was the only thing holding her upright. "Suuuure..." She purred into my ear in a sexy voice.
I led her away from the bar and into the crowded dance floor. I stopped when we got to the center of the floor and she draped her hands on my shoulders. I placed my hands on her waist and she turned, pressing her backside into me. Her hands twisted and glided through the air as she started grinding on me. I pulled her close and let her do her thing, swaying my body to the beat of the music.
After dancing to a few upbeat songs, the woman seemed to be getting bored with just dancing. I pulled her close to me and whispered into her ear. "Let's go to my place."
The brown eyed woman smiled up at me and twisted her fingers into my black hair. She pressed her lips to mine, her whiskey breath filling my senses. I broke away from her and wrapped my arm around her waist. "Mind if we take my car? It's a slight walk to it."
She gave me a cheeky grin, slurring her words. "Nooot aaat allll."

I pulled my grey pickup into my driveway and glanced at the woman. Her eyes soaked in the details of my two story home. She turned to me and smiled. "I'm Anna." She said leaning in to whisper her words into my ear.
"Dan." I replied slowly. I was unsure if I should tell her my real name. What if something goes wrong and she does happen to get out?
No, nothing like that will ever happen. I can do this, just like Evan. Maybe I could do this better then Evan could.
I smiled and Anna looked at me funny. "Why are you smiling?"
"I was just thinking about how beautiful you are." My mind filled with images of her drowning in her own blood and screaming. She was indeed beautiful, but not as beautiful as Alex. No one is as beautiful as Alex.
Alex...
Anna...
They both start with an 'A'...
I smiled internally, finding a way to make these kills more personal. This is to show my love and I will prove that to her. I will show Alex just how much I care.
I pulled Anna out of my grey pickup and shut her door. She walked a not so straight line towards my home and stood on the front steps, waiting for me. I followed behind her and slowly unlocked the door. She has no idea.
Anna entered the door first and I made sure to shut, and lock the door behind me as I entered. I led Anna down the hall, but stopped at the foot of the stairs. "Why don't I go down stairs and grab some wine." I stated slipping away from Anna.
I lingered at the basement door for a moment before beginning my descent. I descended down the stairs, taking as much time as I could. I need to get her to come down here on her own. My eyes traced the walls as I searched my wide array of tools for what I needed. I crossed the dark room quickly and took hold of my weapon of choice. A heavy hammer.
Simple, yet effective. It serves no greater purpose then knocking Anna out so I can get her on the bed.
"Dan?" I heard the top step creak under her weight. "You down here, Dan?"
I remained silent and moved through the shadows that the basement held. I awaited Anna at the foot of the steps, waiting for her curiosity to get the best of her. The steps groaned softly as she stepped down them one by one. My grip on the hammer tightened with each step she took. The anticipation of my first real and unimaginable kill getting the best of me.
Anna stepped unto the cold, stone floor. Her high heels clicking as her feet hit home. I smiled as I brought the hammer over my head. Anna turned in my direction, her face filling with confusion.
Everything happened in slow motion.
Anna started to back away.
I grabbed Anna's arm, stopping her efforts to flee.
Anna's face contorted from confusion to the unmistakable beauty of fear. Her mouth widened as she formed a blood curling scream.
In one swift swing, I brought the hammer down. It collided with Anna's skull with a satisfying crunch. Anna's knees buckled and she crumpled to the floor. Moans of pain escaped her lips and blood trickled down from her hair line. I watched the delicious substance for just a moment before lifting Anna's weak form off the ground. She stirred in my arms, attempting to get away, but her efforts were in vain.
I dropped her unto the mattress and snapped the chains firmly unto her wrists. Anna squirmed and yanked at her restraints. I punched her across the face and she let out a low whimper. I stood up, hovering over Anna's trembling form. I laughed at her feeble attempts of escape.
I crossed the floor of the basement, admiring the puddle of blood as I did so. My eyes searched the walls for my next tool of choice. Excitement coursed through me as I laid eye on my old hunting knife. Let's treat these women like the animals they are. I picked the blade up and grabbed a sharpening block as well. I made my way back to Anna to see that she had slipped a hand free.
Anger boiled within me and I began to kick at the whore. My steel toed boots slammed into her protesting form. Anna stopped moving and I took the moment to grab a spool of heavy duty electrical wire. I leaned over Anna's trembling figure and clasped her freed hand back into its chains. I wrapped the wire around her wrists as tightly as I could. Now any movements will make the wire cut and dig into her wrists. Lets see how much she fights now.
I straddled Anna's waist and tossed the wire spool to the side. Anna eyed the hunting knife in my hand fearfully. I brought it down over her face, barely a centimeter from stabbing her in the eye. She squirmed beneath me and I laughed at her. Bringing the blade of the knife across the sharpening block time and time again. My actions made Anna very nervous and her fear and uneasiness sent chills through my body.
I could no longer wait to start my act. Enough playing around. I trace Anna's collar bone with the blade and smiled as I cut away her shirt in a single stroke. I ripped away the tattered shirt from her body and looked down at her, inspecting her body. Fresh blood pooled to the surface of her skin, from a cut the knife had created. I watched the fluid trickle down her breasts and stomach. I couldn't fight my urge to taste it.
My tongue traveled over Anna's sweet, cold skin as I followed the path of the deliciously salty blood. The thick crimson substance coated my mouth and gave me a rush. I glided the knife gently across her skin, putting enough pressure to only cause a stinging sensation.
I brought the bloodied knife to my lips and glided my tongue across it, enjoying the fluids that coated the sharpened blade. I stared down at Anna's terrified eyes and pressed the blade flat against my cheek. "We're gonna have fun tonight..." With that said I plunged the knife into her stomach.
I watched the blood that spilled from the new wound and soaked in her glass shattering scream.
Tonight will indeed be a fun night.
