Love is unique.
Cold or warm
Freezing or burning
You never know what love you are
Not until it comes like a gentle wave
Or a violent storm
So let your love be yours.
Even if it's only with yourself

Wood elf parties consist of fire and alcohol. The kind that can knock a human flat on their ass, so I wasn't aloud to drink any. It smelled funny anyway.

The blue haired girl obviously didn't like me. Her eyes were orange, and they were trained on me. I could feel them constantly. At the end of the night, everyone was pretty drunk, except me and Anguish. It was intriguing to watch these beautiful women dance in the firelight. The sky made it all seem so much more memorable. I felt so at peace.

Anguish had been running at first. He had since crashed into my arms. I stoked him absentmindedly. The tree nymphs had settled down and we're all laughing drunkenly. They began to sing. It was so beautiful. It reminded me of some ancient song. It was rich and so heartfelt. There were no words, but it sounded so sad. So heart breaking.

I was getting sleepy. The song was nearing its end when I spotted Greer and the blue haired elf wandering away. Now, I knew that I shouldn't interfere, but we were pretending to be married, so I followed them.

Greer was clearly drunk. She didn't seem drunk, but I saw her drink so she wasn't completely sober. She giggled and dragged him deeper into the wood. He chuckled stupidly.

"Where are we going Canaber?" Greer slurred.

"Somewhere private, love." Her smooth voice had taken a seductive tone.

"Where's Ever?" He chuckled again. It was cold. I felt the chills run up my spine. Plus the ground was so wet and soft that I could feel the water soaking into my socks.

"Your wife is fine. Why don't we forget about her? I've missed you. Greer." She cooed. She reached her arm behind his head and brought herself closer to him.

"Didn't I already turn you down?" He chuckled drunkly again. As well as took another swig of the bottle in his hands. I had to contain my laughter.

"Now now. That was such a long time ago." She scoffed.

"Waa it?" He took another swig.

"Now tell me. Would you really have a human over me?" I could barely hear her. She was whispering to him.

I felt rage and even jealously in my chest.

"She's not just human. She haa dragons blood-" I smacked my head, "-and she's bonded to a guardian. She's special." I looked at him. His stupid drunk face was hard to see.

"Why don't you just love me?" I could hear her voice crack. And despite not liking her, my heart broke.

"You should find someone else. Not him. You should find someone that loves you. Wholly and completely." My tone want rude at all. I even raised my voice a bit so she didn't think I was trying to be mean. I just wanted her to know she would find someone, she just had to let go of him.

"Ever!" Greer fell over and wiggled over to me. I giggled at the drunk worm. At my drunk worm.

"You heard all that." It want a question.

"I feel for you. I really do. I hate to see you look so upset. You want love don't you?" She didn't answer me. She turned her gorgeous face away. Tears were streaming down her face, they gleaned like star light.

"You can. Maybe not Greer. But, one day you can find someone who sees the stars in your eyes. Someone who thinks you're the most beautiful thing they'll ever see." I took a step towards her.

"Like you." She glanced down at the unconscious Greer.

"Sure. Probably even better, because it will be yours." I walked over to a tree and plucked a lovely pink flower from the vine wrapping around it. I went back to her and handed it to her.

She looked at it for a moment before grabbing it. Once she did, it bloomed in her hand. I gasped in amazement. It was such a lovely flower.

"I-I. Um, I'm." She sighed and stuck the flower in her hair. "I'm-"

"Don't. It's cool. Just promise you'll find your own." I gave her a wink. She smiled. As she did, her hair and body became decorated with pink and white flowers. Even in the darkness, she made flowers bloom. She'd find someone, I knew it.

"Anguish-" he had taken his furry butt back to the pendant, "wake up, I summon you." Silver light enveloped me and I melded with the wolf.

I used his strength to lift up Greer. I turned around to see the Wood elf, but she was gone. Suddenly I felt a hand scratching at my ear. It felt so good, I even leaned into it.

"So soft. You truly are special Ever." Her smooth voice said.

Suddenly the sensation stopped she she disappeared into one of the trees. I mean into. I stood there in pure shock for a solid minute. I shook myself out of my daze.

Greer was heavy as he rested on my shoulders. I could feel fatigue tugging at my consciousness. I looked up at the sky and its moons.

I howled at them. It was full of sorrow and heartache. I knew that that howl came, not from me, but Anguish. I could tell he missed his family. I could feel his heartache. I made a vow right then and there to be a family for my wolf.

We finally got back to the clearing. This grass was dry and soft. I let Greer down and I all but collapsed.

The party was clearly over. No one remained. Even the fire was extinguished. Greer was happily snoring on the grass. So I decided to join him. Out of habit I turned in circles and began to get comfortable.

Wait.

That was Anguishes habit. I de-melded with the wolf. He was curled up comfortable in the V that mine and Greers body made. I used Greer as a pillow and closed my eyes.
