Chapter Five: “You’re Quite Familiar To Me?”

It’s been an hour of rain pouring the place and I’m just sitting on the sofa and flipping the channels of the television even though there is nothing to watch exaggeratedly bore me. I don’t have any idea where Shayne since she disappeared in the room. I thought she was craving for food? I head my way to the kitchen and I’m glad that Shayne was there, she was just eating and drinking.

“You’ve been so long in the kitchen.” I complained and grabbed a seat in the room. “What were you doing here by the way?”

“I’m just staring at the window and eat some of your food in your fridge.” She admits and my eyebrows suddenly rose. “But don’t worry, I’ll be buying some grocery later if I’m done.”

“I’ll be the one to grocery shop.” I declared confidently. “Simply because you cleaned the whole house and build my confidence little by little. You need to take a rest and it’s time for me to be responsible, eh?”

I marched going to my room and as I was in front of my bedroom door, I swung it open and entered the cold room. I continued marching going to the closet and as I was in front of my closet I stopped and ponder about my outfit that will fit the weather. A long sleeves shirt and jeans popped into my mind and then immediately grabbed the outfit that popped into my head.

I used the outfit in and then arranged my ponytail as I walk towards the mirror and then I suddenly gaze to myself. I didn’t realize how I was dressed properly and casually since before. Since Shayne entered my life. Everything changed. Trust me, she will be amazing if you’ll be her mate.

I walk down the stairs and march to the front door. I prepared my umbrella and swung the door open. Once I’m outside, I pull it closed and allow the umbrella to cover me from the rain. The wind goes harder and I started to shiver. But what’s the big deal of giving up? I saw the only taxi that is driving in the street, the taxi suddenly stop right in front of me and I went inside right away and allow myself to stay comfortable and dry.

“Oh, any mall near this place.” I finally spoke as he drives directly to the place that Shayne and I hung out together few hours ago. I really don’t usually go to malls just to have some air or shop things simply because they’re bored. Well, I just stay at home and eat. You know? I’m normal but somehow I act weird. Maybe too weird. The car suddenly stopped and it suddenly interrupted my thoughts. I opened my umbrella and entered the entrance door, closing my umbrella and dry it for a little while. I entered the mall and walked around. I’m not yet in the thing in grocery so I better wander around the mall or whatever.

After a few minutes walking around, I accidentally bumped someone. I looked up at him. Those eyes were familiar, those emerald green eyes I saw early this afternoon. “I-I’m sorry.” I apologized.

“You’re pretty familiar to me?” He tilts my chin up by his cold hands.

“I am?” I asked, pretending that I just newly met him despite the fact that I met him already.
