Chapter Six: “Argue and Love”
“Can you tell me about yourself?” Harry suggests and smirked. “I really don’t know much about you yet.”
I’m not sure if I’m going to tell everything about him simply because he’s a stranger to me even though he’s a very famous celebrity. People can break promises, and I know Harry does that too. What if he will humiliate me by telling my deepest secrets? Am I thinking too far or too much? I just don’t know if I could. I don’t know what to do. I can’t decline him because I know he will force me to. He will just curse me what.
“I don’t know.” I sighed. “It’s just, I don’t tell secrets to boys actually.”
“You can trust me.” He assures me.
“But—”
“Don’t overthink, love.” He mumbles and kissed my forehead. “Stop thinking deep, I know that you can trust me.”
“I can’t!” I shouted and stand up from my seat. “I can’t because I know that you’re going to break my promise and humiliate me in front of your mates or your family.”
“Why would I break your promises or every girl’s promises?” He spits and an angry look was placed around his attractive face.
“Remember Haylor?” I reminded him and a tear fell off my cheek. “You said that both of you were friends and you promised that you will never date her and you’re not her type? That’s what I’m avoiding! Avoiding telling promises to the boys who broke a promise before!”
“I’ve changed!” He snapped and shook his head. “I know I mess things up before. People change!”
“I know but I know you will make mistakes.” I snapped and exited the restaurant. I guess I’m overreacting, overreacting in front of Harry. I heard loud footsteps behind my back and it reminds me of Harry’s boots. Someone suddenly grasp my wrist as I turned back and it was Harry, he nods his head and shook his head—wiping his tears by his cold thumb.
“I’m sorry if I talk too much.” He apologized and he looks up at me. “I know you can’t trust me but… Why?”
“I can’t because… It’s a long story.” I didn’t continue maybe I’m going to tell too much. I know you’re questioning, why did you tell it to Shayne? Why? Because I know that she is trusted. I know that I can trust him… But does he have a proof so that I can trust him?
“You just don’t want to tell me.” He snapped and roll his eyes. “You know, let’s forget about it. I think we better wander around and shop clothes for you, eh?”
“I’m going home.” I reminded him and pull my hand off him.
“Why would you?” He chuckles and folds his arms.
“Because it’s late and I can’t stay late in the mall.” I told him and rolled my eyes.
