Chapter 55 — The End
“Diana,” I shushed her, sympathetically and I slide my hands to her rosy cheeks. “It’ll be okay.”
“Harry, I feel so weak.” She commented, her eyes filled with pain. “I can’t breathe, I don’t have the proper vision. I don’t want to leave.”
“Diana . . .” I stopped and rubbed circles to her palm. “By the day that you will leave, promise me that you will always be the good girl that you always have to be.”
“That line . . .” She chuckled, weakly. “Is that Elsa? From Frozen?”
“Yeah, you should be the good girl.” I kissed her knuckles and look at her sparkling eyes.
“Harry,” she smiled. “—If my heartbeat stops, you should always keep in your mind that my heart still beats for you.”
She smiled, “I love you.” She whispers. “Can you sing for me?”
What would I do without your smart mouth. Drawing me in and you kicking out.
You’ve got my head spinning, no kidding, I can’t pin you down.
What’s going on in that beautiful mind, I’m on your magical mystery ride.
And I’m so dizzy, don’t know what hit me. But I’ll be alright. . .
Diana, please don’t close your eyes. Please.
‘Cause all of me loves all of you. Love your curves and all your edges.
All your perfect imperfections.
Give your all of me; I’ll give my all to you.
You’re my end and my beginning.
Even when I lose I’m winning.
Cause I give you all of me,
And you give me all of you. Oh.
She lost her heartbeat, but, her eyes are still open and a tear fell off. I whispered; “Have fun on your mystery ride.”
“NO!” I screamed. “Glad it’s only a dream.” I sighed.
I thought about my plans this day, but I just realized that Diana’s operation would happen this day, this morning, this date and this year. I got up and help myself for this cold Monday morning. I wore my skinny jeans and a white t-shirt, putting on my bandana and I immediately left the hotel and sped up to the hospital where Diana is living in a while. When I realized that I’ve gotten the weirdest yet the most emotional nightmare or a dream earlier, it made me more anxious and made me smaller. I feel like the world is shrinking the flap out of me, in fact, my world is shrinking more because of anxiety. I stopped the car and I tried to breathe and relax, suddenly, a call interrupted my thoughts. “Hello?” I tried not to groan. “Hey, Shayne.”
“Harry, her surgery will be in in ten minutes.” Shayne reminds me. “You should speed up.”
“Yeah, I will.” I said and ended the call, speeding up to the hospital before the ten minutes is going to waste.
Once I got there, luckily, Diana was still in her own hospital room. “Diana!” I gasped, happily. “I’m glad you still aren’t in those doors yet.” I chuckled.
