Forgive me if I don't update every other day. I am busy with school, okay, I have a life outside of Wattpad. Writing takes time. Lately I never feel like writing, we're all lucky if I manage to find it in me to produce a chapter at all. I'll be gone from June 29th to August 1st, since I will be in Pakistan and will have no time to write. Just so you all know. I'm sorry I always keep you all waiting, but being under pressure to write all the time takes away the joy of it.

Chapter 33— New York Minute

Klara's POV:

"This is so exciting," Vin spoke, practically bouncing in his seat as he stared out the windows of the jet we were currently in, thousands of miles up in the air.

Despite myself, I couldn't help but crack a smile at his excitement, finding amusement in this, especially since this boy had never traveled out of the country before. Lenny and Marc had arrived at school to pick us up after last period, my bags already in the trunk, and we had made our way to Vin's house to pick up his own things. Once that was out of the way and we had arrived to the private airport without a pap on our trail, we had managed to get on the jet and take off.

For the past week, Vin had been visibly excited for this upcoming trip, and I was loving it. Of course, the rumor mill had been spinning and people were wondering what was going on between us, and as always, I never said a word, and thankfully Vin was one of those people who didn't listen to the talk of the school, much less gave his two cents for it. So he kept his mouth shut, only talking to me or Leah about it.

"I'm warning you right now," I began, catching his attention as he looked at me curiously, "the paparazzi is extra crazy in the city. It might get a bit rough," I added, unable to help the smirk from slipping on to my lips.

Vin let out a small chuckle, turning his body so he was facing forward, sitting opposite of me. "I think I can handle myself just fine, Klara," he said, clearly taking my words for granted.

My smirk widened, arms casually crossing over my chest as I comfortably leaned back in my seat. "You haven't been out and about with me, babe."

To my pleasure, I caught sight of a light pink hue spread across Vin's cheeks, and I prided myself in being able to make him blush. If he could do it to me, I sure as hell was gonna do the same to him. An eye for an eye, after all.

We were already half way through our flight, only four more hours to go, and Lenny and Marc were already fast asleep in their seats on the couches towards the back of the plane. They looked adorable—especially since Marc was cuddling one of the pillows.

"So, um," Vin spoke up, clearing his throat after overc0ming his blush attack. "Where are we staying at?"

"The London," I answered, glancing out the window and looking down at the white puffs of clouds. "That's where we always stay when we go; it's one of the best hotels in New York."

Vin's eyebrows raised, a sudden expression of concern washing over his face as he sat up, shoulders squared a bit. "I don't—I hope you're not, y'know, spending too much money on this," he said, looking a bit embarrassed as he spoke, pressing his lips together. "I don't want there to be too much of an expense, yeah?"

His words brought the amused smile back to my face, letting out a scoff of a laugh as I shook my head lightly. "You're bloody adorable, Vinny," I said easily—a bit to my surprise. "Money isn't an issue, so don't worry your pretty little head about it."
