Chapter 13 baking and supermarkets

(A.N okay dokay so yup I'm updating AGAIN! haha yay! I hope you enjoy it)

Genevieve's pov

After the spa I went to my room and got changed and lay in bed rather bored so I decided I wanted to eat some food.. or bake.. or both at once

I walk to the kitchen and I can hear Elissa talking to someone but not sure who.. probably herself cuz she is a genius like that.

I decide on making a cake

I get out the recipe and start to read the ingredients

1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 cup milk

1/2 cup oil

250g dark chocolate, broken up or roughly chopped

1 cup hot strong coffee, can be strong instant

2 cups flour

2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1 cup Chelsea LoGiCane™ Low GI Sugar

1/2 cup cocoa

2 eggs

Chocolate Ganache Icing:

400g dark chocolate, broken into pieces

1 cup cream

I look through the cupboards and make sure I haw everything...yup. yup yup...yup...yupppp.. noooppoee... darn it. o well ill just go down to the shops for the cream. but that's the icing so ill just make the cake and go to the shop when it's in the oven... I hope shops are open at 11:49pm... Yeah there are supermarkets that are open 24/7 so ill be sweet.

I start following the directions..

Preheat oven to 180°C. Line the base of a 22 - 23 cm spring-form tin with non-stick baking paper and spray with non-stick baking spray.

Mix the lemon juice with the milk and set aside for it to sour the milk.

Place oil, chocolate and hot coffee in a microwave bowl or small saucepan and heat gently, stirring often, until chocolate is melted and the mixture smooth. Cool.

In a large bowl, mix the flour baking soda, baking powder, sugar and cocoa.

Mix the eggs and soured milk into the cooled chocolate mixture, combine thoroughly, and then whisk into the dry ingredients.

Pour into the prepared tin and bake for 1 hour.

I follow these instructions and place the cake in the oven.. okay dokay one hour till I need to be back..

I run through the house to my new car keys (im very proud do finally have my license.now me, Myre and Elissa can drive! not just them! they got there license as soon as there turned 15 and so by the time they where 16 and half. which they are now. They were old enough to get there full. an me being 17 im a bit behind but thats only because I had studying to do. not driving at 15.) i grab my wallet leave the hotel.

I walk to the car in my sweets pants and my big yellow jumper, my hair is in a messy bun and Couldn't care less. all I want is cream for my cake!

I turn my car radio on and counting stars by one republic and I sing alone like a lunatic

I arrive at the supermarket and start walking through the aisles and get distracted by the chocolates... mmmm...... I hear to lads laughing and they walk closer each second. then they grab handfuls of bags of lollies an chocolate and fill there basket with junk food. I thought I was a foodie.. these boys are crazy...crazy awesome!!! I look over and go to smile as I walk off to see them sitting on the floor of the store eating and making a picnic.. and then I see Niall!
