Coming Home

"I've missed you so much," Niall whispered into my ear, once his lips parted from mine. The rain pounded against our two bodies, as we stayed close together.

"I have, too," I whispered.

"Why did you leave me?" Niall asked me. I then remembered Harry. My eyes grew wide. I can't be in love with two people at once!

"What is it?" Niall asked, concerned.

"Harry..." I whispered. I saw a look of nervousness in Niall's eyes, "What's wrong?" I asked him. Niall quickly snapped out of his trance, and concentrated on my eyes, "Nothing. Let's just get out of this rain." Niall grabbed my arm, and started to lead me towards his car. I stopped walking, causing Niall to turn around, "What is it?" He asked, confused.

"Aislinn..." I mumbled. Niall frowned, "Who's Aislinn?"

"The girl I live with," I replied. I glanced over at the grocery store, and saw Aislinn standing in front of the doors of the grocery store. She quickly turned away, when she noticed me looking at her. I can't leave her.

"You live with someone?" Niall asked, surprised. I nodded, "Aislinn and I stayed at the same hotel. We both had nowhere in particular we were going, so we decided to room together in an apartment we bought."

"Oh..." Niall replied, trailing off at the end.

"I can't leave her," I replied, "She can't pay for the apartment by herself. She will have nowhere to live. Sorry, but I can't go back, Niall."

"You know there's an easy solution for this problem," Niall replied, raising his eyebrows. His odd facial expression made me almost laugh, but I held it in. I have to stay serious.

"What do you mean?" I asked, confused. Niall grinned, "Aislinn can come live with us."

"Really?" I asked, surprised that I never thought of that, "Are you okay with that?"

"Well, any friend of yours is welcome with us," Niall answered. I smiled, and hugged Niall. He seemed happy to have me hugging him, he wrapped his arms around me, as we stood in the rain. Niall let go, and looked down at me, "We should probably get out of this rain, before we catch a cold."

I nodded, "I'll go get Aislinn." I ran across the parking lot, over to Aislinn.

"Was that Niall?!" She asked, excitedly. I nodded, still grinning, "Yep. And, he has invited you to come live with all of us."

Aislinn's mouth dropped open, and her eyes lit up, "Are you serious?"

I nodded happily, "You're going to live with me and the boys!"

"Wait," Aislinn interrupted, "I don't think this is right. I should have to pay for my own rent."

"Aislinn, they're One Direction. They have boatloads of cash," I replied. Aislinn frowned, "But, I need to pay for my own expenses."

I groaned, "Fine, then you can pay for some of the food bills. Is that okay?"

Aislinn sighed, "I guess."

"Yay!" I exclaimed, happily, "Come on! You need to come meet Niall!"

"In the rain?" Aislinn asked. I nodded, grinning, "Yep!"

I grabbed her arm, and pulled her across the parking lot in the pouring rain. Aislinn had the grocery bags strewn on her arms. Her clothes and hair was becoming soaking wet. I dragged her over to Niall, "Aislinn, this is Niall."

"Hey," She replied, nervously. Niall smiled, "Hey, love. I would hug you... but I'm sort of soaking wet..."

Aislinn giggled, "Same here. Thanks so much for allowing me to stay at your house."

"No problem," Niall replied, "Why don't we get out of this rain?"

I nodded, and Niall led us over to his car. He opened the door, and Aislinn and I got in the back. Niall closed the door behind us, and got in the driver's seat. Niall started up the car, and pulled out of the parking lot.

"Should we go to our apartment first?" I asked.

"Well, I was thinking you two can go over there tomorrow, and sell your apartment," Niall replied, "Then, you can pack up, and take your stuff back to our house. Besides, I'm pretty sure the boys really want to see you, Nicole."

"Okay, that sounds good," I replied, and leaned my back against the seat. I'm a little worried about seeing Harry again.... How will I be able to tell him I've chosen Niall? He's probably still in love with me. And, what about Meredith?

"Niall... Um, is Meredith-" I began, but Niall interrupted me, "Liam dumped her."

"Why?" I asked, confused. I thought Liam was extremely in love with her. Why would he just dump her.

"Harry and I proved that she was a cheater," Niall replied.

"But, you didn't try before," I muttered.

"You don't understand," Niall protested, "I had to lie. Meredith said that if I told Liam that, then she'd tell him that I kissed her. She kept forcing me to kiss her. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I just didn't know what to do, then."

Everything is starting to fit together. When I saw Niall and Meredith kissing, it was actually Meredith forcing Niall to kiss her. I thought Niall had been a horrible person because I thought he was kissing Meredith! I can't believe I actually believed all of that.... I should've just asked Niall.

"I-I'm sorry," I mumbled.

"Huh?" Niall asked, confused, "Why are you sorry?"

"I should've asked you why you didn't tell Liam the truth," I explained, "One of the reasons I ran away was I saw you and Meredith kissing. I thought you were in love with her, but I was wrong. I should've talked to you... But, I just decided to run away."

"Oh..." Niall mumbled, "It's my fault... I should've talked to you."

"No-" I began, but Aislinn interrupted me, "It's both of your guy's fault! Do you two always play the blame game?"

"Pssh, no!" I exclaimed. Aislinn gave me a look, and I gave in, "Fine, yes."

"Just be glad you two are together again!" Aislinn exclaimed. I nodded, and then thought about Harry again. I don't know what I'm going to say to him....

I looked out the window for a while, as the car filled with silence. I saw the car pulling down the street that the boys live on.

"We're almost here," Niall announced. I looked over at Aislinn. She looked really excited. Meanwhile, I was nervous beyond belief. Niall pulled the car into the driveway, and we all got out.

"Wow...." Aislinn mumbled under her breath, "Big house...."

"Haha, that's what I thougth when I first saw it," I joked. Niall walked up to the front door, with Aislinn and me following behind. We reached the door, and Niall rang the doorbell. This is it. This is the moment when I get to finally see all the boys again.... And Harry. This is the moment I've been excited for and dreading at the same time. Time to see what happens.
