"E-Excuse me?" I asked, extremely confused.
"Putting Niall in danger will also put you in danger," Mr. Horan explained, "You know how his fans can get. They will just get mad at you even more. Do you really want to get Niall hurt anymore? I think you know as well as I do that he's at risk of getting hurt when you're around. I know that Niall wants to protect you. He wants to be the one who would take a bullet for you. Do you really want to do this to him? Things will just be safer if you stay away from him."
"B-But, I love him," I replied, my voice nearly a whisper.
"So, then you care if he gets hurt, right?" He asked me. Suddenly, Niall walked in. He was about to say something, when he noticed the odd silence, "Um, anything wrong?" Niall asked, oddly.
"No, nothing's wrong," I replied, "Ready to go?"
Niall looked between me and his Dad, but quickly snapped out of his trance, "Oh, um, yeah. Let's go."
Niall led me out of the house. He got in his Dad's car, and I got in the passenger's seat. Niall pulled out of the driveway and drove down the road. The car was silent for a moment.
"So, what were you and my Dad talking about?" Niall asked, while keeping his eyes locked on the road. I kept staring out the window, "Oh.... Nothing much," I answered simply.
"Come on," Niall persisted, "You can tell me."
"It's nothing, Niall," I repeated. Niall shrugged, "Fine, you don't have to tell me."
The car grew silent again. It was almost like Niall was waiting for a reply from me. I wasn't going to tell him. I'm not sure what I should do. I really don't want to endanger Niall, but I also don't want to break up with him. I don't know what I should do....
"We're here," Niall mumbled, as he parked next to a store. Niall glanced at me for a second, "We should probably buy you something you can change into quickly, before anyone notices you're wearing my clothes."
I nodded. Niall put his hood up, blocking out most of his blond hair. He got out of the car, and I did the same. We walked into the store he had parked in front of. It was a small store, that not many people were at. I searched the store, looking for something to buy, something cheap.
I finally found a pair of jeans and a jumper. I walked into the dressing room, and quickly changed out of Niall's clothes and into the new outfit. I looked at myself in the mirror. It fits and doesn't look too bad. I guess I'll get it. I came out, wearing the outfit. Niall bought the outfit, and I was annoyed that I didn't have any money to pay for it myself. Well, even if I did have money, Niall would still buy it himself. I just wore the outfit out of the store, since I really didn't want to continue wearing Niall's clothes. I followed Niall out of the store.
We walked across the sidewalk, over to the car. Well, at least where we thought the car was.
"Damn it..." Niall mumbled, running his fingers through his hair. The car was missing. I walked into the empty parking space. I then noticed what happened to the car.
"Niall, look at the sign," I said. Niall walked into the parking space next to me. I continued pointing at the sign which said no parking between four and six. Niall groaned, "Of course..."
Niall reached in his pocket to grab his phone, but instead pulled his hand out emptihanded, "Um, well, my phone was sort of burned in the plane crash...."
"How will we call then?" I asked Niall.
"Let's just go back to the store and call from their phone," Niall suggested. I nodded, so Niall led me back over to the store.
"Of course, it's closed," Niall muttered under his breath, when we reached the store. On the door was a closed sign. Niall cussed under his breath. I looked to my right to see a payphone, "There's a payphone over there, do you have any change?"
Niall shook his head, "No, I only brought my credit card."
"Is there any other stores nearby?" I asked Niall. He nodded, "Yeah, about half a mile down the road."
I sighed, "Well, let's start walking."
We started walking down the sidewalk. The cold December air blew against the sweater I was wearing. I felt myself starting to shiver, and soon my whole body was shaking from the cold.
"We probably should've bought you a coat," Niall mumbled.
"N-No, I'm f-fine," I replied, shivering immensely. Niall chuckled, "You don't have to lie, Nicole. I know you're freezing."
Niall pulled his coat off of him. He put his coat over my shoulders. I took it off right when he put it on me. Niall frowned, "What's wrong?"
"I can't take your coat. Then, you'll be cold," I argued.
"I have a jacket on, I'll be fine. Besides, you tend to get cold easier than me. I don't want you to get sick or anything," Niall replied, putting his coat back over my shoulders. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder, and pulled me close to him. I could feel his body heat running through my body.
"OMIGOD IT'S NIALL HORAN!" Niall and I turned around to see a girl screaming her head off. A few people nearby were staring.
"U-Um, if I give you an autograph, will you stop screaming," Niall asked her nervously, pushing his head back over his head, so people wouldn't notice him. The girl looked at Niall for a moment, then smiled happily, "Okay!" She exclaimed cheerfully. She handed Niall a piece of paper and pen. Niall quickly signed it, and handed it back to her, "Bye," He quickly said, before leaving.
"Bye, Niall!" The girl happily called to us. Niall grabbed my hand, and led me along the sidewalk. We finally reached our destination. We walked into a random small shop.
"Excuse me," Niall said to the cashier, "Could I borrow your phone to call someone?"
The guy looked up at him, and then nodded. He showed him over to the phone behind the check out lane. I followed behind Niall. Niall dialed a number, and I watched him listen to the ringing. After about a minute, Niall hung up.
"He's not picking up," Niall muttered to himself. He dialed a new number, and got the same result; nothing. Niall put the phone back in the receiver. He thanked the cashier for allowing him to the use the phone.
"Where do you want to go?" Niall asked me.
"Do you know any towing places close by?" I asked Niall.
"I think our car might be in a towing place that is three miles down the road," Niall replied.
"Well, we don't really have any other options, so let's do that," I replied.
"Okay, let's go," Niall replied. We walked out of the store, and down the sidewalk. I was starting to grow tired and cold from walking. Niall also looked pretty cold.
"Why don't we switch off on wearing the coat?" I suggested, taking the coat off of my shoulders. Niall shook his head, "No, I'm fine. You need it more than me."
"But, I'm warm now," I replied, trying to hand it to him. Niall wouldn't accept it. I groaned, "Stop being such a gentleman, Niall!" I complained. Niall laughed at my silly complaint, "Well, sorry for being nice," He joked. I rolled my eyes and threw the coat back over my shoulders, knowing he wouldn't take it. Niall wrapped his arm around my shoulder, and pulled me close. Our body heat warmed the both of us.
"We're finally here," Niall sighed, once we reached the building. I sighed, "Finally!" I exclaimed happily. We walked in, to see a long line. Niall quietly groaned under his breath.
"Let's just sit down and wait until the line thins out," Niall suggested. He led me over to a row of chairs, and we sat down. I sighed, and leaned my head against his shoulder, once we were sitting. Niall wrapped his arm around my shoulder, providing extra warmth.
We sat there in silence, waiting for the line to thin out, so we could join. I found my eyes growing heavy, as I enjoyed the comfort of Niall. I soon fell asleep, still in his arms.

"Nicole, wake up," I heard Niall whisper into my ear. I opened my eyes to see him standing in front of me. I groggily rubbed my eyes, "What is it?"
"I got the car back, so we can go now," Niall replied. I nodded, and stood up. We walked out to the parking lot, where the car was ready to go. Niall and I got in. Niall started up the car, and pulled out of the parking lot.
"Might as well go finish shopping so you have some clothes to wear while staying at our house," Niall replied. I nodded, and Niall drove to the store, where I got more clothes.

Niall helped me carry some of mine and his own bags inside (he bought some stuff, too).
"We're home!" Niall called, once he walked inside. I heard footsteps, and his Dad walked in, "Good, you're back, dinner is getting cold."
"Hold on, I'm just going to take some of our stuff up to our rooms," Niall replied. Mr. Horan nodded, and I followed Niall up to my room. He sat my bags on top of my bed, and was about to leave when I grabbed his arm, "Hold on, we need to talk."
"What is it?" Niall asked, turning around, so he was facing. I sat on my bed, and Niall sat beside me, looking confused. I nervously bit my lip, while staring at the ground. Is this a good idea?
I had finally figured out my decision. There was one thing that Niall had done, that pushed me to make my final decision. It was the incident when Niall wouldn't let me give him back his coat. I knew he was going to get sick from it, but he kept persisting. He is putting me over himself, and... I know that isn't good for him.
"Um... Niall, I think we should break up," I told him, nervously. He stared at me for a moment, confused, but then his face turned to realization, "No, we're not breaking up."
"What?" I asked confused. He's denying me?
"Tell me what my Dad said to you," Niall commanded, looking me directly in the eyes. I tried to avoid his contact, but he kept staring at me.
"I-I can't tell you..." I stuttered out.
"Nicole, tell me, or else I'll ask my Dad myself," Niall said, sternly. I guess I have no choice now, "W-Well, he told me that we should break up."
Niall's face relaxed, glad to know the truth why I asked him to break up. Then, I saw his features grow angry, "Why would he say something like that?"
"He said that I'm putting you in danger," I answered, truthfully. Niall stood up, and began angrily pacing back and forth, "How could he go around telling her to break up with me?" Niall angrily muttered to himself, "He doesn't even know about us!"
"Niall, calm down, it's no big deal," I replied. Niall shook his head, "It is a big deal. I'm going to go talk to him!"
"Niall, you're making this worse than it has to be!" I complained. Niall didn't reply, he just simply left the room. Well, this isn't going to be fun.

Guess what guys!? I had learned something today. You know how when Nicole is about to pass out, and I say black spots enter her vision. Well, I didn't know if that actually happens, but IT DOES! I almost passed out in algebra at the end of the day, I think. I only knew because I could barely see anything because black spots were in my vision. BOOK LIFE RELATIONSHIP! I was horrified and excited at the same time. I didn't actually pass out, but I did learn something. Yeah... I'm weird. Okay, well, comment, follow, and fave. Bye lovelies! -Madison
