Tomorrow is the day of the concert and so the day I debut. I'm scared and anxious but I'm also really excited to perform with such an amazing group of people and to finally officially be a part of Bangtan Sonyeondan.
But today Jimin and I decided that we should take a day off and go out. We didn't really know where to go but then we remembered the amazing cabdriver/singer we met when we moved Hoseok's stuff to my place. Tae's doppelgänger Baekhyun.
We meet him in a quiet coffeehouse not too far from where we live. It's nice seeing him again, it sorta takes my mind off things. He told us that he auditioned for a company as a singer and that it was us who inspired him to do so. He invited us to one of his concerts as well and told us about this guy in his group. His name is Chanyeol and we could tell that Baek's completely fallen for him. The way he talks about him is just like how I would talk about Jimin. It's really cute to see how happy he is.
After we drink our coffees it's time for us to go home, after all, meeting with Baekhyun was only just a small part of our day and he had to go rehearse with the rest of his band, EXO. I'm excited to see him perform and of course we invited him to our show as well. We told him he could bring a friend or two if he wanted so maybe we'll get to see Chanyeol as well.
The guys are coming over for one final rehearsal before the show. I'm nervous but so excited to be on that stage. I feel like that's where I belong. And I have these amazing guys here to support me.
The doorbell rings and when I open the door I come to face 2 colorful, smiley boys. Immediately the oldest of the two throws his arms around me excitedly.
"Hobiaah!!" the crazy strawberry haired boy yells in my ear while I can see the younger just smiling at the excitement of his weird boyfriend.
"You'll make him deaf if you keep shouting like that Tae." Jungkook comes in behind Taehyung and gives me a gentle hug after Tae lets me go.
The 3 of us walk in, closing the door behind us and Tae greets Jimin with the same energy as he greeted me not too long ago.
"Jiminie annyeong!!"
This kid has really got so much joy and energy to spread, it just makes me happy. I'm still so thankful for Taehyung. Without him I would never be here right now. And with that in mind I walk back up to him and pull him into a hug.
"I never really properly thanked you for introducing me to Jimin. Without you I would've never met him and I would've never been so happy. Thank you so much Taehyungah..." I can hear Tae giggle as he tightens the hug.
"You're welcome Hoseokah!"
The four of us go to the practice room already and start setting things up. After a while, Namjin and Yoongi arrive as well.
I don't really know how to greet them so I just reach my hand out to Jin but instead he pushes it away and pulls me into a hug.
"We're family now Hoseok, you don't have to be so formal." He says with a sweet smile on his face after he lets me go.
"Gomawo hyung." I say with an awkward giggle.
Namjoon gives me hug as well. Even though he's pretty intimidating if you don't know him, he's quite a sweet and gentle guy when you do. Yoongi is the last one in and he just very casually gives me a one arm hug. I'm okay with that though, I can tell Yoongi's not really a very physical human being.
It's nice to have Jin call me family. Now I'm absolutely sure that his is where I belong. These guys are my family now. And I wouldn't trade them for a real one even if I could.
We practice the routines and the songs for a couple of hours and they all go really well. All of us are pretty much in sync and it looks and sounds really nice.
Jimin and I decide to ask them to sleep at our place tonight just so that all of our minds are synced as well as our voices and bodies. We've got room on the couch and we still have a couple mattresses in the guest room as well.
We set the mattresses up so that all of us are basically laying on one big mattress. Just to improve our unity.
After everything is set up, we decide to go out and have Korean barbecue. It's the best food in the world and it's always super cozy in the restaurants. We eat a lot and talk about the oncoming show and basically the future for Bangtan. Our future.
Suddenly Namjoon raises his glass.
"I'd like to propose a toast. To our new member. Jung Hoseok. But also to Taehyung and Jimin for introducing him to us as a person and as an artist. I'm happy to now call you a part of Bangtan and I'm sure our future will be bright and hopeful with you, J-Hope. Don't worry too much about tomorrow's show. Let's just go out there and have a good time, yeah? I'm 100% certain that we're all just gonna have a great time. To Jung Hoseok and to Bangtan!" He says and with that we all raise our glasses.
I'm so happy right now.
