You remember that time we skipped school and took me to the hidden lake.

The one with the rope swing. You made me do it, despite my fear.

We had fun. I had fun.

I am writing this at the lake. Memories are hitting me from left and right.

"Okay on three let go."

"Charlie I'm scared."

"Don't worry, I'll never let anything bad happen to you."

And you kept that promise and now I'm left without.

To the day. Its been two years since I've lost you.

I look up at the sun and I force a smile, but I can feel the tears threatening to spill.

I'm going for a swim. The first one with out you.
