Gabby volunteered to attempt to see if she could make the run across the Atlantic Ocean.

She knew the consequence that she might not make it.

Her loved one from World War I, Ben, his ship had sunk off the coast of England and if she died, she wanted to be with him.

We attached a device to her that would go off it hit the water, meaning she stopped running and in the end; died.

I couldn't stop pacing once we had gotten to the coast, we traveled up to Maine and at midnight after resting up Gabby was going to head off.

I prayed that she'd make it, luckily with the device we would be able to see how far also that she made it.
