Reed handed me to someone.
Everything happened faster than my eyes could comprehend.
Wolves were fighting humans. What?
My brain proceeded to shut down right there and then.

I swore I could hear Charlie's voice as I felt water splashing at the person run.
"Kenzie you have to trust him."
I began to black out.
"I never left you."
It had to be my subconscious playing tricks on me.
"I'll see you soon, love you. Charlie."
Those were the words of the phone call I made to him that night before him and Michael showed up.
