I got her letter.

I decided to just leave her alone.

I haven't been in her life for over two years.

I watched her and her mother pack up the house Kenzie grew up in and just move like there was nothing holding them back.

I went to the Coven and they sat me down and explained the rule.

A rule which I bet Michael must have broken with Kenzie, once that night to save her and probably other times.

Touch is a wonderful thing for a vampire. It allows us to connect with another, but if we touch a mortal it does damage, that is not noticable at first.

Unless we plan to kill to feed, touching a human in any sorts causes the human to constantly feel cold. it will dawn upon them at random.

After the cold stage, its the burning stage. Like a cold.

If they make it too that point, it takes a toll on the body, they get weaker and weaker.

Until a point where they collapse and die.

No one knows why.

I never knew this and now unless I help Kenzie; she will die.
