Chapter 18: Just a Scratch?

JUSTIN'S POV

I sat outside the nurses waiting room with Jason sat beside me. It was now around 9 o'clock and i still hadn't seen Bella since 2. I was worried to the point where i couldn't even think properly. All these scenarios of finding that she would never wake up or something... Ryan, Chaz and Liam said they would look after the kids and put them to bed but i couldn't refuse because my only priority at that time was getting Bella some help...

FLASHBACK

I watched as Bella's eyes slowly rolled to the back of her head and her whole body went limp.

"Bella, Bella baby stay awake," I shook her gently but nothing. She wasn't opening her eyes...

"Ryan, get a life guard or nurse quickly!" I shouted as i placed Hunter on the bed and picked up Bella and curled her up in my arms and covered her still bikini covered body with a towel. I placed her head gently on my shoulder and rubbed her arms gently to keep her warm.

"What happened?" A life guard asked as he approached us with Ryan.

"It doesn't matter right now, but what does matter is how to get my girlfriend some help," I snapped as i looked up to this fucking waste of space. He was wasting my time but not only that, he was wasting Bella's.

"How long has she been out like that for?" He asked as he sat opposite and picked up her arm.

"Be careful, she hit her arm and about 1 minute i think," I told him and i watched as he pressed two finger to the base of her wrist.

"I said be careful," I snapped once again. Does he not get that she hurt her arm?

"Justin, calm down," Chaz said as he placed his top over his head. I ignored him and looked back to the life guard.

"She has a sturdy pulse so she's probably just fainted although you should take her to see the nurse," He told me as he stood up and walked away. WAS THAT IT?

"Where the heck is he going? Isn't he supposed to wake her up of something?" I asked the guys in total confusion as the too watched the life guard walk round a corner.

"Look just leave him for now and go take Bella to Mary, she'll sort her out," Liam calmly stated. I nodded my head and stood up but as i was about to walk away i heard tiny whimpers. I looked down to Bella to see that she still hadn't woken up but when i turned around, most of the little kids had trembling lips and huge tear glazed eyes.

"W-whats happen to Bellwa?" Cody sobbed as he looked at Bella's lifeless body. I was about to go to them until Ryan stopped me.

"No you need to go, we'll sort them out and we'll send Jason over," He told me. I looked back to the kids and i felt so guilty that i couldn't comfort them. I hesitantly nodded and walked away from them, hearing loud cries for 'Dustin and Bellwa'...

"Justin," I heard Jason snap. I shook my head and turned to him to see him with an apologetic smile.

"Don't freak yourself out, she only fainted because of the blood, she'll be fine," He tried but how did he know she would be ok?

"We haven't seen her since we brought her in over 6 hours ago, so how can you say she'll be alright?" I asked him. He sat back in his chair and sighed.

"Because if she wasn't going to be ok she would be in the back of an ambulance and on the way to a hospital. Yes her head was bleeding and yes she has a sprained arm but when have you ever heard Bella complain of pain? The past month she has never asked for anything and has never complained... She's a strong woman and so she'll be fine," He explained. I ran it through my head and yeah he was right but it still doesn't stop my from worrying...
