Chapter 39: I have my 12 week scan soon!

Zoe's POV

This is it. Vidcon is over, most of the British youtubers have rented a house up in the hills of LA. Everyone is here, and they're all away into the pool and I said I was away to get changed. Me and Alfie went up to our room and he got changed into swimming trunks and I got changed into my bikini, I got a white baggy swimsuit cover up, and I pulled it over my head and put on some flip flops. I took Alfie's hand and we went downstairs. We got everyone outside, Tanya, Jim, Louis, Louise and Joe were in the pool. Tyler, Caspar, Joey, Jack, Troye, Finn and Marcus were sitting at the side. Alfie and I walked out still holding each other's hands. I looked up at him, smiling and he gave my hand a squeeze, probably just to reassure me. Although I didn't need any reassuring, I was excited to tell our friends! We walked over and I sat down on Alfie's knee and he put his arms around me, resting them round my tummy. I put my hands on top of his. I was so excited.

"Hey guys, go come over for a minute?"

Tan, Jim, Louis, Joe and Louise came over to the side of the pool and everyone else turned round to look at me and Alfie.

"You can tell them, I think you are going to burst if you don't"

Alfie laughed, obviously agreeing with what I had just said. He was really excited and I knew he had wanted to tell everyone for a while. I just wanted to wait until I was ready, of course I did really want to wait until after the 12 week scan but I want to enjoy my holiday and I can't unless I tell our friends. Telling them now is the right thing to do and I am happy.

"Guys, me and Zoe have something we want to tell you all."

I looked at Joe, who was smiling over at me. Everyone was looking at us really. I turned round to Alfie and put my head against his chest whilst he carried on talking.

"We have gotten some really amazing news and we thought you all deserved to know."

"I'm pregnant"

Everyone looked so shocked. Except Marcus, Louise and Joe who obviously already knew. I was scared, it took a minute for it to sink in with everyone. Did they all agree with this? Did they think we were ready? We didn't when we found out.

"Does anyone want to say anything?"

Everyone said congratulations and hugged me and Alfie. Telling us how they couldn't believe it and how they were so happy and excited for us. When everyone had finally calmed down a bit me and Alfie decided to go swimming. I took off my swimsuit cover up, showing my baby bump to everyone. I was so happy to be able to show it off. Not have to hide it. I was in such a great mood and I knew I was going to enjoy my holiday so much. Tanya came into the pool and came over beside me.

"I just can't believe that your pregnant!"

"I know it's so amazing!"

"So how many weeks are you?"

"I have my 12 week scan soon!"

"Really!? You look bigger than that!"

"Yeah, but to be fair I am really small anyway so anything growing inside me would look bigger!"

"Yeah that's true!"

We both laughed a little at ourselves. This was probably what everyone was thinking.

"Hey does anyone know where Jack is!?"

"No sorry Finn. Haven't seen him."

Nobody had seen Jack, he must of left. Nobody knew why but I had a small idea myself. Nobody had seen him since I told everyone I was pregnant. He was an ex-boyfriend of mine, I wasn't surprised he had left. He just needed some space to think. I decided to keep my thoughts to myself and next time I saw him I would talk to him. See if he was okay.

Alfie's POV

It was so nice that everyone knew about Zoe being pregnant now. She could walk around not caring about having to hide the small baby bump she had forming. I could talk about it to everyone like the proud and VERY excited dad-to-be I am. This was going to be one of the best holidays ever. Surrounded by amazing friends and with my favourite girl in the world, and our precious little baby.

I went up to the room to see Zoe. The swim had tired her out and know that everyone knew she was pregnant, she could sleep all the time without everyone worrying about her. She was up in the room, lying on top of the bed covers, asleep. Her hands hugging her bump, she looked so beautiful. I got my phone out of my pocket and took a picture of her. She would find this cute to look at. I laid down beside her and let her move around, hugging into my chest like she always did when I got into bed later than her.

"Alf?"

Well she must of woken up or been awake this whole time. Oops.

"Yeah babe?"

"I have a question for you"

"Go for it!"

"Do you want to find out the sex of the baby?"

"I'm not sure, I haven't given it much thought. Do you?"

"Yeah, I have always wanted to. And plus we need to know if Darcy is going to have a best friend or a boyfriend when they're here!"

I laughed at this, Zoe was so cute.

"Yeah sure, I agree. We should."

"I'm glad you think so too!"

Zoe hugged into my tighter and I wrapped my arms around her. Letting her fall back asleep and me not long after.
